We reserved the best available room in this property and paid the highest price through Expedia but when we got there the property gave us the room in the first floor and they said this is the only room they had available and they can’t do anything about it because we reserved the room from the third party means Expedia. These is several times that happened to us and we decided not to reserve hotel throughout Expedia but make reservations directly from the property.

Our room was neat and clean, our housekeeper was super and always on top of things for us. Kelly went out of her way when we needed a shower mat, due to the shower floor being very slippery. The view from our room was wonderful and always made me happy when I looked out of the wide open viewing area. The balconey was glass enclosed so you had a really open view of everything around you.

Our room was very noisy. There is no insulation between rooms. Therefore, you can hear conversations in adjoining rooms. Housekeeping did not come into our room to change our towels. I had to take our towels out and find the housekeepers every day to get new towels. Trash was not removed from our room during our four day stay. The showerhead was worn out and did not work properly. Outlets in the room were so worn that you couldn’t keep things plugged in. The breakfast is very good. The staff at the desk and breakfast prep were great. Housekeeping not so happy with.

Everything about it was great as far as the hotel property goes. The unfortunate and most unpleasant part was the music from the restaurant next door; it could be heard throughout the hotel from mid afternoon until the wee hours in the morning. It made it difficult to sit outside and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the bay which was the draw to staying there. It was nice to be in a centralized area where you could walk to parks and restaurants and little shops.

Very clean and easy to get to! Great views for the sunset at night and loved having a restaurant we could walk to next door! Also very walkable to walk into town to visit shops and other restaurants. Super friendly staff. Pool was a bit smaller than the pictures make it look but still great to have. Overall would stay here again! Loved our room and the balcony view.

Parking lots are not desired views
The room was misrepresented in the listing. We were expecting a “marsh view suite” in instead were given a room with a view of the parking lot/building next store. If you turned sideways you could see a small portion of swamp. The outside deck and convenience of Rockwell next door are the only things saving this review.
