The stay was standard. The check in was a little odd, as they want to charge you for random things, like saying if a towel is too "soiled" -which doesnt make sense, as towels are designed to get wet. That should have been my red flag. It was a one night stay, nothing extended. I just happened to check my card transactions days later, and i see i was charged $35. I emailed them via hotels.com-no response. I called multiple times, but each time it sounded like the call was picked up. There was no one on the other end each time, so i went back to the hotel myself. When asked, i was told i was charged for a face towel, hand towel and sheet!! APPARENTLY, they were "damaged beyond repair". I did not understand how that could be the case, when again, we werent even there 24 hrs. Towels were used for body and face (as they are designed to) and sheets were slept on (as they are designed to). Nothing was burned, ripped, had holes in it etc. I am currently pending evidence of what they are saying, as (of course) the person that could help was not available. I was never emailed, contacted, or even given any notice i was being charged. I believe these chrages are racially motivated and also bc they are doing renovations, so they need more money. The towels and sheet are not even quality. I do not recommend anyone staying there.
