Booked three King rooms. Two parties had spacious rooms and king beds. Ours was not spacious, nor a king bed. We spoke to Reception and were told that all rooms had king beds. We told him ours did not, and it clearly was not a king bed. The only other option for us was the spacious room with twin beds. We were charged the price of a king room and did not get it. Hard to even tell this is a hotel, really need to pay attention when you arrive. Is close to shopping, but really no dining options. Car park gate is down a sketchy alley past garbage and junk piled up. Car park is very tight.

Difficult to access the parking area as it’s in an alley behind the hotel Birinda gave us great service Better signage on Yaldhurst Road is supposedly in the works Look for the Horse & Jockey , The Alpine door is adjacent to this business

The actual room was very clean and tidy. That said the chair at the desk in the room was broken at the base and the back sonjnable to be used. Yes there is free parking but it is very limited and restricted to about 8 small cars which is fine if listed in the ad and you know you will have to park on the street.. The staff however were friendly and helpful.

Very good room (the first room allocated smelt of cigarette smoke but easy move to another room when requested). Getting the car into the car park was a little convoluted but straightforward once familiar with it.

There is a 2 metres by 2 metres outdoor area with no view. The receptionist is also the staff who cleans up the room. Although the hotel offer luggage storage facility, I was asked to collect my luggage before 1:30pm on my departure date. It was so inconvenient as my flight was after 6pm. Generally speaker, it is a nice hotel in the area.

I'm amazed at the good reviews written for this location. My experience was quite different. This hotel shares its front entrance with a dive bar and when I arrived there were impaired individuals in close proximity. Garage entrance is down a narrow back alley. Took several trips around the block to determine the hotel entrance was between a 7 day a week clinic and run down bar. When I checked on the room it was subpar at best. Location did not feel safe and asked if there were any other Best Westerns I could transfer my reservation to. Staff was not helpful and refused to help and I ended up paying for the room and reserving a room at a safer location. All the good reviews must have been by hotel staff. Beware.
