I liked how friendly and helpful staff was. Breakfast needs to improve in flavor and also the cleanliness in the room wasn’t done 100 percent. Otherwise, I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

It was in a perfect location, and ofered the things we needed. 2 out of the 7 days we stayed the housekeeping was slow to clean the room, and our room door was kind of beat up, but for the reason we were there it worked out.

Maintenance required
Almost everyone at this hotel, like us, was there for the US consulate. The rooms were fine and the beds were comfortable. Our first room was dirty and I had to ask for a new room. They were very nice about it and I we were given a new one but the bathroom was filthy. It also had a funky smell. Our next room was clean (they went in and cleaned it again before we moved) but it also had a funky smell. I realized during the night that the smell was from the air conditioner and it only got worse as the air conditioner needs to run all night or it gets too hot. When I asked about it, the immediately came and swapped it for a clean one. The maintenance person new exactly what the problem was (mildew gathering in the tubing) and said they have to be periodically cleaned. With a smell that powerful, it shouldn't take a guest complaining for the maintenance to be done. Our safe never worked properly even after getting someone to come in and reset it. It was also tiny and couldn't fit any documents. It seems important to have a working safe that can fit documents when everyone is taking their important documents to the consulate. The TVs in both rooms were blue and apparently they also knew that they needed to be replaced. While I really appreciate how fast the staff took care of things once I complained, our stay wasn't cheap and I feel like I shouldn't have to have been given a dirty room or breath mildew all night. The shuttle in an area with no sidewalks was a nice feature.
