We were in Rome and wanted to spend a day near the sea, and stumbled upon this BnB and were so glad we did. Our room had a great sea view, was clean, air conditioned, and came with a great bathroom. The blinds made sure the room was nice and dark in the morning, so we could wake up on our own schedule. The real star of the show was everyone that worked there. Owner Loris really went out of his way to make sure our stay was great, and his attention to service detail was impeccable. Ambre made the check in a breeze and sure to go over all the amenities in detail. She was wonderful in making our breakfast special. They had a thorough selection of quality breakfast food, and coffee/tea. Make sure you try Loris's mother's Pistachio cake! Highly recommend this place, and we plan on staying here again if we come back for a cruise through Civitavecchia!

Even before we arrived Loris was warm, helpful, communicative and accommodating. He wanted to make sure that our family had a wonderful experience, which we did. The location is fabulous with great views. The B&B is amazing.

We stayed an extra night after getting off our cruise ship and we absolutely loved it. We had a beautiful Seaview front room with a beautiful balcony, peaceful, relaxing. Loris, Rita and Ambra are amazing. They made us feel like family. Rita baked an amazing pistachio pie. We had dinner around the corner at Gambero Rosso, the best Italian food, we would definitely come back. The room was clean, very bright and airy. The air conditioned room was amazing with the hot weather. We had breakfast on our balcony. We also had a ride transfer to the Airport and was driven by Las himself. There is a transportation fee coming from the Civitavecchio area to FCO airport so we paid €150 front door. We would highly recommend La Casa de Mare!!

What a pleasure. The staff and owners were so accommodating to all of our needs. They make you feel like you home. Food and drinks always accessible. The view from my room was stunning. They hold your luggage all day even if your checked out. If you need to book a tour they are very helpful. I myself love a low rise hotel an I was not disappointed at all. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the ships. I wish I was able to go back after my cruise but I’m going to stay in Rome central. Next time I’m back in Rome I’ll be looking forward to returning to y try he hotel. Lora

I rarely write reviews but our experience here was exceptional. I highly recommend La Casa sul Mare. Loris and his staff go above and beyond to make their place feel like home and provide all you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for those traveling to or from the cruise port, the accommodations are modern, clean, and lovely. There are snacks, drinks, and coffee available throughout your stay and breakfast is wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly, polite, and informative they helped us book excursions and provided train info into Rome. The rooms were very clean with a homey feel plus the breakfast they provided was shared with all guests and was a welcoming atmosphere.The owner and his staff were delightful. A hidden gem. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Only downside was being charged 50 euros for "early check-in" for a room that was available when we arrived at 11:30am but weren't able to occupy until 3pm unless we paid the fee.

We cannot say enough how wonderful Loris & his staff are. They could not do enough for us. They helped with luggage, parking, dropping off the car & luggage storage to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a wonderful room with an awesome view. I’m a lifetime Hilton @ Marriott member so I’ve stayed at my share of hotels. La Casa is in the top three in the world we have stayed at. We will definitely be back! Awesome place!

Casa Sul Mare is a gem
We were so impressed with Casa Sul Mare! Can’t say enough about how amazing our stay was there the night before our cruise. The people who own and operate this B & B are thoughtful, pleasant and very helpful. Our accommodations- one of only 5 rooms - was clean and updated. It had everything that we needed and then some. We would return here and highly recommend it.

It was a seamless booking experience with the ability to book a private car from the airport to their bed& breakfast.The property was exceptionally clean and very welcoming. Our hosts were very accommodating and kind. Breakfast was available at 8am with coffee, cappuccino, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The refrigerator was well stocked with beer and wine along with snacks available throughout the day. The balcony provided a relaxing atmosphere and views. Quick walk to the port. Numerous restaurants in the area. I look forward to our next visit
