Beautiful lake-access house just steps away from Clarklake!

Casa Calma is a beautiful lake-access home just 100 yards from renowned Clarklake, a 580-acre all-sports lake. Docking space is available if you'd like to rent watercraft (Eagle Point Marina is on Clarklake, and Rob's Rentals is on Devil's Lake and delivers) A public boat launch is available if you'd prefer to bring your own watercraft. (Please let us know in advance for either option.)

Casa Calma ("Calm House") lives up to its name. The moment you walk through the door you'll feel the stress melt away and the good vibes kick in! Open floor plan with high ceilings and a gorgeous fully equipped kitchen with granite countertop, stainless steel appliances and a coffee/tea station.

The open living room area has a cozy sectional sofa and two comfy chairs that convert into sleeping chairs (better suited for our younger guests.) There is a smart TV for all of your streaming needs (as well as complimentary WIFI.)

The dining table seats four, with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar.

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms (both bedrooms have tv's, private entrances to the bathrooms, and the guest bedroom has a walk-in closet.) Queen beds in the bedrooms (and guests rave about our mattresses!)

Both bathrooms have walk-in showers, plenty of storage for your belongings, a hairdryer and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a bright and cheery laundry room with a full size washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

Large private backyard with deck, patio table, grill and chiminea. Inside the deck box are outdoor toys for our younger guests.

Guests have access to the entire property (excluding the garage which is used for hosts' storage.) The driveway can accommodate two cars.

Relax along the hosts' lakeside in Adirondack chairs while our younger guests enjoy the beach (toys located in the deck box.) Explore beautiful Clarklake on our kayaks (five adult and two kids), canoe, paddleboat or paddleboard (seasonal.) Life jackets (assorted sizes for adults and kids) are located in the deck box by the water. Our lakefront is also offered to guests from our other two vacation homes.

AUTUMN
Celebrate autumn in all it's glory at Clarklake! Experience the explosion of colors with a kayak trip around Clarklake (seasonal.) The Irish Hills has so much to offer this time of year from festivals and haunted houses to apple picking, corn mazes and hayrides!

WINTERTIME
As the temperature cools and snowflakes flutter to the ground, Clarklake becomes a winter wonderland! There are many wintertime activities to enjoy in The Irish Hills. Go sledding at The Cascades, attend a winter festival, visit the quaint shops in downtown Brooklyn and have dinner in a heated igloo! After your winter adventures, warm up at Casa Viva with cozy blankets and hot chocolate.

Celebrate the holidays at Casa Viva! The moment you enter the house you'll feel the holiday magic. From beautiful decorations and flameless candles to a gorgeous tree, you're sure to get into the holiday spirit!

Peaceful weekend retereat
The home was as pretty as the pictures. Super clean, well stocked like i have never experienced before. The hosts were two doors down and available if needed, but not in our business. It was perfect. I wanted a quuck getaway with my 6 YO daughter for Labor day. The lake was a very short walk and has a nice beach area to play in or take the kayaks out from. Another guest arrived the next day and there was plenty of room for all (they had a boat so they were out quite a bit). We didn't go anywhere aside from an ice cream run to town, but there are restaurants and other places to go. I will definitely stay again. Big thanks to Megan and Rob for their hospitality!!

Casa Calma was truly wonderful. The name suits the house; my whole family felt peace and simple joy while here. The layout flows comfortably and there are thoughtful touches throughout the house that make it an easy place to stay. We'd absolutely book this home again.

The property was great. Cooked some food there, beds were super comfortable...But the hosts.... were SO FRIENDLY. I have never communicated so much with a host anywhere I've stayed, and I am so glad I did. They were accommodating and just really kind people that make you feel comfortable and welcome. We used the kayaks, paddle board, my sister almost got attacked by a swan protecting its babies; it was great! I would absolutely stay there again. 10/10.

Communication with host was great. The house was very comfortable and roomier than a hotel would have been. Lots of choices on tv, the internet worked great, the decor was nice with lots of extras and you couldn't ask for more. When I work I have to travel and move often or we would have stayed longer.

This house is very cute, very clean and decorated SO cool (which I believe is with art made by the owner????) We really enjoyed the off the beaten path location and within a very short walk to the beautiful lake. Only negative at all was the neighbors across the street, loud in the evening, long time running vehicles, just over all LOUD. This of course can not be controlled by the owner I realize and it wouldn't prevent me from staying here.

From the artist decor and ease of the location, to the views and many hikes within a short drive, our stay was so impressive! Home was updated and very, very clean. Had all the amenities that were listed and needed. Loved that they had two bathrooms! Owners responded quickly when there were questions and their owners manual was organized and descriptive. Was a perfect location and home for two families visiting the area.
