It is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. However, the hallway where our room was located smelled heavily of marijuana. Thought it could be a one off from the last time we stayed in November, but nope. And while marijuana is now legal in Ohio, it is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. Used to see more families staying at this hotel, but now you don't and so it make you wonder if families don't feel as safe. The quality has significantly gone down over time and I have stayed many times over the years when visiting my family. Will likely consider other options that are truly smoke-free and feel safe for families.

Room was incredibly hot and dry and blower very noisy. No comfortable chairs to sit and read in. Bed was fine. Needed maintenance for a few items. They came on Thanksgiving and took care of most. Very nice staff. Room was clean. Good location.

Used to be a nice place…..
Carpeting in my room was filthy. Stained and nasty. Took a few pics and upon review not sure it was even vacuumed before my stay. The heating/cooling system was difficult and never got the room comfortable. When I walked in it was hot in the room with the heat still running. Bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Trash in the hallway was a nice addition. Parking lot had lights out so it was very dark on arrival. When I told the front desk about it she acted surprised that any lights were out….

Location is great, very nice hotel.However, when we checked in we were not told the water was off. I realize things happen but they should have told us when we got there. Gave us the option to ho elsewhere.

My stay this time was quite disappointing. The hot water supply to the bathroom sink was turned off and multiple requests at the front desk did not correct the issue. The carpet looked quite dingy with multiple spots cut out and repaired (poorly), and should have been replaced long ago. Also, the room door was so difficult to close that I had to push it shut with my shoulder. Otherwise, the room would have been quite nice. When I previously stayed at this location 2 months ago I had no issues, so you may need some luck on which room you get. Personally, I don't plan to return to this hotel.

Overall the place was nice overall but could use a little maintenance. There were a few bulbs out in our room and the 2 remotes didn't turn on any of the TVs. More importantly, however, the bathroom door handle was broken and frequently we couldn't get out from inside. (worst was when I wasn't in the room and the front desk had to open the room so I could let my wife out,) Understandable however, the issue was not fixed when they said it would be. The couch in our room was a bit worn out and not very comfortable. Area around the place is nice and full of stores and many places to eat. Easy drive into downtown Cleveland

Great location, very nice hotel.
Really nice, clean and well run. Particularly impressed with bedding. The 2 TVs are quite small but at least there are two. The couch was a bit worn out - that really should be replaced.

This was our third time staying at this Wyndham in Avon OH. We went there for a weekend getaway and again had another good stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly.
