We had a very positive experience at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was really good with so many choices. The location was also excellent, with many attractions within walking distance. However, I found the prices for snacks inside the hotel to be quite steep. For example, a small bag of chips and a chocolate bar cost me $11.

The only parking option is $42.00 plus service fees to valet park. Trying to do that and check in was a real hassle. The hotel is in a great spot downtown, but the property itself is VERY outdated and is not being properly serviced or cleaned. Heck, even the elevator lights were burnt out! Upon checking into our room, it was very nasty. Not sure who thought brown was a good color choice for room couches but they all would not pass a "Bluelight Test", having disgusting white stains on them. The shower was moldy, there were cobwebs in corners and dust everywhere and even the phone to call the front desk didn't work! We used our cell to call the desk and they changed us to another room which was better but still very dated and not well kept. We were staying there in Cleveland for a company Christmas party. It was nice being able to just walk to the House of Blues from the hotel, plus there are many food options and attractions nearby. The condition of the hotel was very disappointing, considering it is a Marriott. I truly hope they re-evaluate Management there as well as give them a bigger budget to update this place. Even without renovations, you can still keep a place clean. And the free breakfast buffet? What an absolute joke! Kids before us wiped out everything. Then a lady from the kitchen comes out telling people to smile and insert positive energy into the day, only to afterwards yell and scold the entire room loudly because someone plugged in a waffle maker! Rediculous!

Walkable to everything downtown. Staff isn’t very welcoming. Room was spacious but had a musty smell, pullout sofa was broke, dirty and no linens in room for it…so we had to call desk to get a rollaway and linens @ 11 at night. The blanket given for rollaway was a nasty feeling, my son wouldn’t even use it. There were dishes left in the dishwasher and the shower wasn't very clean.

No complaints!
Older building but kept up well. Stayed one night for a football game, and it was a great experience. Valet is a bit costly, but I guess that’s big city for ya. Easily walkable to Browns stadium, and right across the street from the arena and casino. Plenty of restaurants/bars along the street too. Will stay again if back in town!

The property overall was very dirty including our room. Just so we're clear the property is old and that's okay, being dirty is not okay. The lady at the front desk was very polite during check in. There is a bar at the facility but it wasn't open. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have that open when you have a cavs game going on across the street. Very disappointing stay.
