When we arrived we did not know how to check in..where to park...why the elevators were locked...confusing and stressful since my boyfriend is an amputee and we had to walk forever. Staff was helpfulbut we were highly stressed.

The property was really good, we enjoyed our stay. I love that it gave an apartment feel rather than just a hotel. The amenities were great and it felt very safe. During check in, the two employees we met in the afternoon were really nice and helpful. However when we were checking out at 4am the employee was pretty rude. We weren’t sure on the check out process and she just dismissed us.

This hotel is very nice! Felt so safe and it’s right in the heart of town and walkable to so many places! Rooms are err very spacious and clean! Staff were super nice and friendly! Will be staying again

We loved the apartment and the amenities. However, the parking was a bit of a nightmare. The system allows you to make a parking pass starting at 3:30pm but when we arrived at 3:55 we were told we could not enter until 4 per “the manager’s” instructions. Also, you must have a key to use the elevator. Bit of course you don’t have a key until you check in. There needs to be a way to grant access to the elevator through the parking garage. Everything else was fantastic and we would stay there again.

I was staying at roost for my dtr wedding , upon arrival I found staff friendly and helpful.I found the hotel extremely secure. The decor was beautiful and hotel was clean and inviting. The 2 bedroom suite was very large and came equipped with all applied including washer/dryer. Large screen TV’s and extremely comfortable beds. You will love this hotel! It is so well worth the price

Friendly concierge with amenities of a luxury apt.
The beautiful architecture of “The May”, built in 1915, is a gem. Its white terra-cotta facade, clean lines and symmetrical detailing is elegant. And the wide Chicago style windows, modern and tasteful decor including live plants - adds a cozy touch to the experience. We stayed for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom on the Euclid side facing Public Square which was a winner. We would be happy to stay longer next time. It’s walking distance to many downtown destinations and a quick 15min drive to the art museum and botanical garden. A wonderful place to stay for a romantic getaway.
