You get what you pay for.
We are first timers renting a house on the lake. So this is all new to us. Pros, Good location. 3-5min boat ride gets you to Big Dicks. Literally on top of the water, if your on the deck and drop your phone over the back side. In the water she goes. Nice big deck, nice boat slip and dock to set and relax. Bathrooms was nice and up to times.
CONS. Felt more like a place if you're in your 20's. says sleeps 7 but had enough beds to sleep 14 easily. Finding the light switches for the kitchen, was like finding Waldo. Took me over the 2nd day to remember where and what switch did what light. Needs about 800. or less in simple updating in kitchen, new ceiling light, new faucet and newer refrigerator would total change the feeling in the kitchen. If you come in at night (like we did) good luck finding the driveway. Both ends of drive share drives with the houses on east and west sides, you have to drive into theirs, to get to this one. Realized this after the 2nd drive by. After 6 days of staying there, we would stay again. We just know what to expect now.
