I went to check in. They wanted another 100 dollar charge for incidental charges and any damage we might do. We paid for the room last month. The hotel would not let us stay the night. Julie, the manager, said they would cancel the room and refund the charge.

Great cozy hotel
Stay was fantastic. Hotel is super welcoming, both the staff and the ambiance. Comfortable and cozy. Room was large with 2 comfy king beds, shower was a large walk in one. Very clean. Breakfast area is very cute with a great hot breakfast and good coffee! Little nooks everywhere with games and comfy chairs. Outside patio has a fire pit and seating that is nice. Really enjoyed our stay. Will most definitely stay again.

Beautiful property. I was surprised at the double king option; very rare find these days. Only stayed one night so I didn’t get to take advantage of all amenities. Would stay again.

Beautiful mountain location
Very clean, modern property right in the mountains. Breakfast was good but one person making everything and serving so a bit much. Rooms are good sized and the bathrooms nice as well. Great shower! You can walk up the hill to the brewery. And a roaring wood fire greeted us in the lobby when we arrived.

Cloudcroft is a fun small town. The hotel was close to places to browse. Not in the middle so it was relaxing.

This hotel was clean, well lit and right on the main road, so very convenient. But the walls were very thin, and the door to our room had no seal to keep the hall noise out. The floor above us was also thin as we could hear whenever someone above us walked across the floor, used the bathroom, etc. Also, though we always appreciate it when breakfast is included, it was sub-par.

Nice new hotel with a lodge feel. I was not happy they charged us 20.00 to check in 1 hour early. Seems ridiculous since the place was for the most part empty and the rooms had been cleaned already. The way into the drop off/ lobby was scary because of the angle it sits.
