The hotels location was great, and the staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. The room was great, spotless and lovely but the bed was so old, creaky and lumpy, reminded me of my old bed in a uni houseshare, it was awful. Breakfast was great and apart from the bed , it was fantastic there

The hotel offered such quick and efficient check in and out. It was great to see that one of the staff spoke Spanish too! Her name was Vanda, and she was amazingly cordial. She even shared the name of an excellent restaurant nearby, which was such a treat since it was also my birthday that day. The room was very clean, and the washroom was ecofriendly with the toiletries. I usually don’t use hotel toiletries but these ones were quite good. The gym was small and had both cardio and strength options. It would have been good for there to be a fan since it did get quite hot. The breakfast was very well done and offered a great deal for various dietary needs. It would have been nice to have lactose free milk available too.

We were initially in a 3rd floor small room overlooking a concrete block of flats ( or offices). We asked to be moved and as the hotel was relatively empty were shown several other rooms and choose one on the 7th floor which was much better ( for a 5 night stay ) .Hotel staff very helpfull and the car park is a real bonus. Would be happy to stay there again ( provided offered a reasonable room ).

Hampton hotel is situated downtown Cluj. The rooms, we stayed twice, are spacious and quiet. The staff at the reception was polite, helpful, we wanted a late check out, and obliging. All in all a positive experience.
