One of the cleanest Motel 6 I’ve stayed in but it was very noisy from 6am to check out… so don’t stay in rooms facing the pool.

We had to stay here while driving from NorCal to SoCal because i was falling asleep behind the wheel. It was manageable with two little children due to the circumstances. You just had to ignore the boogers on the wall and the pubic hair on the toilet. But it could have been much worse.

Very friendly receptionists. Very clean room and bathroom. The beds were too soft/unsupportive. The walls were too thin. We could hear our next-room neighbors talking until after midnight. Far from town. Denny's and 2 expensive taco places next to gas stations and some fast food places were the only restaurants that were within walking distance.

The room was not wiped down, there were coffee stains that we wiped up ourselves. The floor was very dirty. There were gel stains on the headboards and bed skirts. The walls were dirty. The vents were dirty. The shower was dirty.

Benonite mine

Went to the mine to find treasures. Stayed 2 nights and brought gaming console but it was very hard to plug in. The bathroom light barely worked. Room had no scent at all but looked to be clean.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was incredibly reasonable!

Since I’m 69 years old I asked for a room on the bottom floor while I was checking in. The desk clerk told me she didn’t have any rooms available on the first floor. This motel has close to 300 rooms and there was only about 15 cars in the parking lot. I could see there were so many rooms on the first floor that were unoccupied plus many on the second floor. I would not recommend this place to anyone that has trouble climbing stairs.

I was here for the night just to see the lunar eclipse!! Coalinga had clear skies and I ended up here. I witnessed the eclipse right outside my room next to the pool area. The property is great, only a couple of times in the night when I was photographing the eclipse I had a neighbor walk outside and take a smoke. That was the only botheration, otherwise all good!
