Place spotless, lots of extras in room- bottled water, eye masks, bottle opener, ear plugs, etc. even water filtered at ice machine Amazing place and outstanding for the price Terrific restaurant right in from and more within walking distance The staff was do friendly snd very helpful Highly recommend

The Scout INN is a decent but basic hotel. The bed was comfortable, the shower had sufficient hot water, the room was reasonably quiet. I have no complaints, and found the stay was satisfactory to my expectations. It is in the middle of downtown Cody, so close to points of interest and within walking distance of a couple of nice coffee shops for breakfast.

The room was very clean. The ambiance was “old motel with modern updates and features “. The “old” part was most apparent when we used the “baby” toilet (ha, ha). The parking was tight with the layout arranged around a restaurant in front of the hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by how big the room was. Conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants. Downtown was not far, walking distance if wanted. The Blanca Tatanka restaurant and bar is part of the hotel so you’ve gotta love that! Great food and drinks, good service. Beds were comfy and it was quiet. They have cute little gifts for your stay too. Ear plugs and sleeping masks if wanted and drink cozies, bottle opener and lip balm. Little mint chocolates as well. BTW…you can’t beat the price either!

Loved the location. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Con: rooms are noisy. Can hear neighboring room noise and street noise. The hotel is aware of this issue and at least leaves some ear plugs in the room :). We would stay here again!

The front staff person Carrie was super nice, and helpful regarding my questions. She's a keeper. The room was very clean. My only negatives are not likely fixable: the garbage trucks picking up before dawn on Fri 10/17 and Sat 10/18 woke me up when the bin met the truck, and the thin walls meant even at normal talking volume I knew what my neighbors in the room across the hall were saying when in their own room.

Nice amenities in the room, such as eye shades and ear plugs. You might need the latter because there was audible noise from the other rooms. Decent coffee and snacks available in the lobby.
