Great resort, has everything you need. Pool, tennis courts, volleyball, putt putt golf, bbqs and has beach access. Been twice and would come again.

A lot of work happening around the property which is ok but should let potential bookings know. Full disclosure. Woken up at 7.18am by a power tool grinding. Pool closed which was annoying as the other pool was a long walk and not convenient to other facilities and our room. But no communication on this. Breakfast was way over priced it cost us $154.28 for 4 people for a buffet that was average and then they have the audacity to ask for payment for a latte which is always complimentary in other hotels. Also the lower half of the breakfast seating area was stiflingly hot especially near the window with no air or ceiling fans. I would not stay here again.

Overall the place is well set out we really enjoyed our visit, I feel the only downside was no fan or air conditioner in the bedroom even with the bedroom windows open it was very hot. But overall it is a beautiful place to stay and we will stay again.

Would have been nice to be told there was construction and a pool out because of the influx of oztag families it was a bit hard to enjoy the amenities. Would definitely stay again though.

Loved the Restful Quiet Hotel
I really liked this place as it gave us the chance to rest and enjoy ourselves. There was a lot of construction going on but there was one VERY nice pool open. Putt putt. And the beach access was so amazing! My husband and I just enjoyed this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful setting for a resort with an easy walk to a secluded beach and bird lovers headland walk. Restaurant and bar have just been renovated and have a tropical island vibe…gorgeous! We had an ocean view from our villa which was a bonus. The pools are still under renovation unfortunately but the resort has a fantastic children’s pool area with slides etc in its own little rainforest. My only issue was the parking because of the renovations. Guests have a small parking area near reception but this was almost impossible to obtain a park in and we ended up parking on the street out the front. This was a bit annoying as it was a bit of a hike to our villa with luggage. Overall it was a lovely stay though and we will definitely return.

Unfortunately when we stayed there were renovations happening which made it difficult to check in and access reception, and the noise started early in the morning. We only had access to one pool and not the other amenities advertised. A bit disappointing. The room itself was clean and well set out. Communication could have a been a lot better advising us that there were restrictions regarding renovations. No compensation was offered for not having access to extra pools, etc that was advertised.

Overall stay good. Few points: Didn’t realise “3 bedroom villa” was actually 2 bedroom townhouse and very separate standalone unit ie impractical for family with small children. -didn’t realise the villa was two stories ie staircase had steep turning and high falls risk for little toddlers. Finally no mention of renovations ie booked a place that had it all ie restaurant onsite. I understand renovations need to happen but even just an fyi sorry for renovations here is list of coffee places and food options etc would have been nice. Also not enough parking had to park on street overnight during stay as secure carpark was full-not ideal.

We were very disappointed that we had no prior warning of the major building works going on and that the restaurant and most resort facilities were closed. Building noise started at 7.00am and parking was terrible due to the work going on.

As a traveller, there is no use staying at a resort without a restaurant. The restaurant was closed as was the swimming pool. The Aanuka website should have drawn our attention to this prior to payment.

The resort is under renovation which was disappointing as no restaurant on site which was inconvenient as we were passing through at arrived after 6pm. Probably won’t have booked if I had known. The stay was OK. Didn't know about the pool or restaurant being closed. On arrival communication was good but on departure when handing the key in was pretty rude. Handed the key to Reception all she could say was "oh right". No "how was your stay, was everything OK, etc." Young girl, pretty rude and needs to be retrained in how to be polite and how to be friendly, particularly as a receptionist and the first person people see when arriving at your facility.

Have stayed here previously and it was great, property is under renovation and there is no notice on Expedia, and you only find out when you arrive and they just blamed Expedia…. All dining options are closed and pools ECT, can’t even get a coffee.

I had to drive 34 kilometers round trip due to Lack of signage then another 1/2hr through local housing still looking for reception which was a demountable surrounded by construction fencing.At check in I was informed the restaurant and pool were closed due to refurbishment.At no point of booking this resort for a 2night stay were we made aware of this. The room stunk of mildew and the kitchenette and bathroom had mould.. barely slept and left at 5am having agreed with the reception that we would only be staying overnight due to driving from Sydney we were fatigued at our 8pm arrival. All in all unacceptable.
