We spent one night to explore Coimbra, and enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We appreciated having access to a parking garage and being able to leave our car there after check out so that we could continue to explore. The room was small, but well-appointed. The view from the terrace at night is wonderful and breakfast had a good selection. Overall, a good experience.

A very clean and comfortable Hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. Great location to walk through most of the places to see in Coimbra, close to the river and superb restaurants. Even the Centro do Fado is 5 minutes walk away. Will stay here again when in Coimbra.

This place was just right in every way: secure, free parking across the street; good restaurants nearby; a short walk to the waterfront and top tourist spots; excellent front desk service; beautiful views from the terrace up top; much-appreciated daily service; and a very good breakfast. We should note we got a king-size bed and there was plenty of space in the room. And, while others have mentioned the noise, our room must have been retrofitted with sound-canceling sliding glass door (to a small balcony), because it was quite peaceful. The room and location were worth every penny.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Alfama area. The room was very modern and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great, and the lobby bar was a godsend after a day out exploring.

The room was nice, but had some street noise. The rooftop terrace and bar/restaurant had wonderful views of Coimbra. Everything was walkable, so the car stayed in the parking garage. Highly recommend.

We Enjoyed Watching the Sun Set Over the City
Hotel Oslo is located on a busy street in Coimbra, but the street sounds were muted well by the windows. Our room was very small (almost too small for 2 people), but it was very clean & comfortable. They may have larger rooms; we did not ask because we were only there for one night. The service was good & so was the breakfast. We enjoyed sitting on the roof top deck to watch as the sun set over the city. They had great background music playing on the roof top deck. :)
