If you are planning on taking a scenic boat cruise of the Great Oyster Bay, the Wineglass Bay Cruise boat pick up location is only 200m down the road - leave your car parked conveniently at the house (as parking is very limited).
Enjoy a walk along the new foreshore walking path immediately across the road and walk to the nearby Geographe Restaurant and Espresso Bar (500m), the Ice Creamery & Co (500m) and the local convenience store supermarket (500m). You can also follow the walking track to the popular nearby swimming beaches, such as Muirs Beach (1km) or find the hidden locals walking track off Esplanade East street (near the boat ramp) and walk to Richardsons Beach (800m).
If you are after some unique beaches, drive into the Freycinet National Park and visit Honeymoon Bay (limited parking in a small car park down the off road track) or Richardson's Beach (entry via car park right before the Freycinet Lodge).
Other nearby things to do include going on a kayak tour (1km), playing tennis (BYO rackets and balls) (800m) or driving to the Freycinet National Park to see the Cape Tourville Lighthouse or to hike to the famous Wineglass Bay.
If you are after a beach for a run or walk - go to Muirs Beach when the tide is out, 6km return distance from the house.
Coffee connoisseurs should go to Granite Freycinet (aka the bakery opposite Muirs Beach)!
Also recommend having a cocktail/beer/wine at the Freycinet Lodge on their deck in the arvo to watch the sun set!
Don’t forget to pick up some wine from Devil's Corner Cellar Door, Milton Vineyard, Spring Vale Vineyard or Gala Estate Vinyard and some fresh seafood at the Freycinet Marine Farm on your way into Coles Bay!
