Booked a regular king suite and was given a handicap accessible room instead. The room had a strange odor. The sink was very small with no room to put any toiletries anywhere and without a shower door the entire bathroom floor stayed wet for hours. Called the front desk and was told they were sold out of king rooms. No other solution offered. Left a bad impression after previously pleasant experiences.

Parking is terribly inconvenient. All that land. Nothing around it and you have to park in BFE. The elevators are conveniently located in the spot farthest away from the parking…by the front desk. Lotta walking in that horrible Texas heat and humidity. The staff doesn’t know up from down and could be bothered to figure it out. The coffee shop is inconveniently located out the door, around the way and thru another door, when they finally open. Wouldnt want them to get up too early for the few guests who had walked all over creation after the long trek from the parking lot. You could valet park…if you are lucky enuf to find him working. But what about when it’s time to leave? Hmmmmm. The strange coffee person didn’t know they served breakfast and the breakfast people didn’t know about the coffee shop. Clueless. The inconvenience goes with the location I suppose, since the entire place isn’t close to anything either. I’ll be finding someplace else my next trip. It wind be with Stella.

Overall everything was great. No real concerns. Breakfast didn't start until 7 on the weekend, which we thought was a little late, but we still made it work. There were several of us waiting to be able to eat breakfast. There is really nothing in the hotels immediate area, so would have been nice to open a little earlier. We stay here whenever we come to CS, and it's always been good.

Disappointing for what I was expecting. The furnitures in the room are all scratched and dented, the bed frame (around the mattress) was dirty with fingernails!!! And there is mold at the shower. Not what I would expect from an autograph collection hotel.

Wonderful hotel
Amazing hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful and looks new. The grounds are well maintained and perfect for taking evening strolls. The restaurant/ bar was fantastic. The pool area had two pools and plenty of chairs. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Too expensive for what you get.
Paid 500/night to be in a handicap room that had no vanity in the bathroom. I’m not handicap but it makes using the sink a lot of trouble. I would think even for someone in a wheelchair it would make it more challenging because there is no where to set things. 500 per night out to have regular rooms available or a bathroom setup for non handicap people.

The Stella is my favorite place to stay in the BCS area. Beautiful grounds, great restaurant, and POV has great coffee next door. The entire hotel staff is wonderful - friendly, helpful, professional. I travel to BCS often and this is the first place I check for availability.
