The hotel sits close to a Hwy 6 which is very convenient, 15 mins to Texas A&M. Nice and decent. Very clean but bed was uncomfortable. Overall good.

Avoid this property. Room 1- I checked in and friendly staff gave me keys to my room. The door would not open and it sounded like it was occupied. It turns out they gave me a key to the wrong room. The front office staff gave me a key to a new room. Room 2 - I went in to the second room and it was really hot. Turns out the ac had not been on for awhile. There was also used tissue in the floor next to the bed and specks on the sheets. I went back to front desk with issues. They moved me to a second room. Room 3 - This was supposed to be an “upgraded room”. I went in and found out the bathroom door was locked from the outside. Once again I had to go downstairs to get assistance. He came upstairs and opened the door with a screwdriver. The AC was leaking so the carpet in front was always wet. Also, the deadbolts were not lined so the door could be opened even if “locked” from inside. Had it not been a busy football weekend with rooms in the area sold out I would have definitely left this hotel.

I had just been released from the hospital and needed to be close in case I needed to return. The hotel is within 4 minutes from Scott & White Hospital College Station. When I called the hotel to explain my situation, they allowed me to check in 4 hours early without any additional charges. They were very accommodating ensuring I had a quiet suite with easy access. Also offered to assist with any additional needs I may have had, above & beyond customer service! There are kind, compassionate people in this world! I would highly recommend & now a loyal customer!

Many hotels were sold out and I couldn’t find one where I felt safe. I finally found this one and it was great! I was traveling alone during a busy weekend in College Station. I felt comfortable, safe and the room was very clean! Excellent stay!

Its really a nice one; only thing is if you do not have car it is difficult to move in and out of main town. Rooms are really big, they have excellent furnitures and other facilities. Front desk people are helpful. They need to improve their breakfast. Many times it gets over well before time and one of the front desk person is not forthcoming in refilling stuffs. Varieties are also less. If you are staying more than 2 days, you pretty much know whats going to be the breakfast for all seven days to come Rest everything is good. All furnitures are new and top quality.

The bed was extremely hard and the water in the shower was scalding hot. .. Couldn’t even get cool or warm water. How do use ice bucket to mix cold water from the sink with the scalding water from the shower to bathe. There was dog hair all over the couch in the room.

This hotel needs some serious work. Worn carpet, water damage in rooms, cobwebs in room, bathroom fixtures damaged…just a mess. Hotel management should be embarrassed by the state of this facility. Marriott should be ashamed to have their name affiliated with this facility.
