A gorgeous Coach House located in Downtown Collingwood close to Blue Mountain

93 Second street is one of Collingwood’s oldest homes built in the Victorian Style between 1860 and 1865 by Hall and Mary Telfer. The Telfers were immigrants from a town called Armadale on the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland. The Family founded the Telfer Biscuit Company in 1856 on Hurontario Street. This was Collingwood’s first family owned business which was subsequently run by their 2 sons James and Herbert. The sons went on to establish the company as a competitor to Christies biscuit company in Toronto

Have stayed her a few times. Just love the space. It's clean and comfortable with a good kitchen and supplies, etc. I especially like the location--close to downtown but not too close. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location close to everything you need. You hardly need the car. The home is outstanding and is totally equipped. It’s a bit of a challenge managing the AC but not a big deal. Highly recommended

Great stay!
We loved our stay in this home. It was well located in downtown Collingwood; accessible to beaches, waterfront, restaurants and coffee shops. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed including extra blankets, towels, cookware, all kitchen supplies. We enjoyed lounging the living space, making and enjoying meals in the kitchen and bbq, and found the bedrooms very comfortable and tranquil. Thank you to my hosts for a fabulous stay!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Coach House. While it is in the centre of Collingwood and close to all the amenities, it was quiet and tranquil. The Coach House had everything that we needed for a great long weekend experience. The host was very responsive and welcoming. We will be back!!

Carriage House Stay in historic Collingwood Neighbourhood
We would highly recommend this 2bdrm, 2 bath unit. It is in a perfect historic neighborhood location, close to shopping and excellent restaurants in Collingwood. Max and Matt were always responsive and personable. The carriage house was beautiful inside and out.

This house is located in the heart of Collingwood! Walking distance to all restaurants, grocery store and all shopping ! Well appointed home with all the amenities necessary such as coffee pods, foil, Saran wrap, all knives, & cookware. Kitchen, family room & eating area is very spacious and it’s pet friendly ! We will be back !

Beautiful property and location!!
We had such a wonderful stay at this coach house. Typically when we visit the Collingwood area we stay near or in the Blue Mountain Village but this time we decided to stay right in the town and it was a great decision. We were steps away some really great restaurants, close to biking trails and short drive away to the village. The house was beautifully decorated, well stocked and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We highly recommend!

Couldn’t be more convenient
We have stayed at this property a couple of times as we find the location perfect for us. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and not too far from anywhere. The house is lovely and is equipped with everything you could need. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Max was a great and responsive host and the recent updates to the house are very tasteful. Jane clearly has an eye! We hope to return in 2023

This historic coach house is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos. Beautifully maintained, comfortably furnished, convenient parking. Great location in historic downtown, steps from shops and restaurants. Owner responded to all messages very promptly. Property manager was always available to answer questions if needed. This was my first time staying at a VRBO property, and I was impressed!

A perfect location in a perfect community for summer fun and relaxation without traffic/crowds.
The owners were delightful and supportive. The location on the Georgian Bay with its many trails for walking/biking was fabulous. The house was also walking distance to the town shops and great restaurants.

This Carriage House is a Collingwood Gem!
This property exceeded our expectations! The location downtown is perfect and it is in a nice residential neighbourhood but also just steps from really great restaurants, the shops and activities of the town centre. In addition, the bay is only one block north. The bedrooms were comfortable, had nice comforters. The 2 bathrooms are nicely renovated and are well equipped-1 is ensuite. The open living space on the second floor is really attractive and very comfortable. Everything is new & well thought out. There are many windows and they provide cheerful light. It was much larger than we thought. The kitchen had all of the items I needed and was generously supplied. There is even a small terrace with seating for two outside off the 2nd floor. As I indicated in the title of this review..this is a gem! We will be coming back.

Okay, but the small, dark, cramped bedrooms, bad mattresses, and lack of any private space at the rear of the property detracted from an otherwise great location.

Great stay!
We stayed here as a small family for the week while our daughter is off at day camp in blue mountain. The house is clean, spacious, and has everything we need to make the stay comfortable. The location is the best part - close to restaurants, the lakeshore and blue mountain (and all related attractions). The owner, Max, is helpful and responsive. Overall, we would recommend the rental to anyone who wants to experience Collingwood!
