Really nice property with friendly/helpful owner
We used the apartment over a long weekend, as a base to visit the Xmas markets in Cologne and Bonn. A 10 minute drive to the train station - with free parking - and a half hourly inexpensive train ride to the centre of Cologne made the visits easy. Bonn was a 30 minute drive away. The apartment was really, really nice. Clean, well appointed, spacious and with all amenities. A parking space on the drive outside as well. I would advise new renters to be aware that access to the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor are by way of a narrow and steep circular staircase. Fortunately not a problem for us. Andreas was a very accommodating host, meeting us on our arrival and checking all was well on the 3rd day. He had information about the train and bus timetables and the local supermarket. We particularly liked the leaving of local gingerbread biscuits on the table and chocolate Santa's on the beds - a really nice welcoming touch. He even made our dog feel welcomed! When we return to this area we would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you Andreas.

Perfect location, perfect apertment
The apartment is very clean and well laid out for a family (4 people) to say. The apartment is located in a small town about 15 miles outside Cologne. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodated our every need. He gave us some very helpful tips on how to further enhance our stay in Cologne. We are already planning our return trip.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles da. Es gab sogar ein kleines Glas selbst gemachte Marmelade zum Frühstück geschenkt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leider keine ruhige Lage
Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und ausführlich über alles Informiert. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Treppe in die obere Etage ist eine Herausforderung (sehr schmal). Der einsetzende Flugverkehr ab 4 Uhr raubte uns den Schlaf.

Sehr schönes kleines Haus im Hof des Grundstücks. Ein Parkplatz ebenfalls im Hof. Moderne, liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung. Sehr netter Kontakt mit Vermieter, reibungsloser Check In. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles kleines helles Häuschen. Alles da, was benötigt. Schmale Wendeltreppe, war aber so auch beschrieben und für uns kein Thema. Gerne wieder.

Nice for short stay or passing through
We enjoyed the stay. It was very clean and the kitchen had all necessary amenities. The winding stairs to the bedrooms may be cumbersome for elderly. The bedrooms are clean and neat. The living room could use a comfortable chair to go with the couch. Right now it is just the couch plus dinner table chairs. The fewo is right under the flightpath of Köln-Bonn Airport; do expect some sudden noise in the wee hours of the morning. This is why I rated the location as OK. For visiting Köln, Bonn, Drachenfels and Siebengebirge the location is very convenient. Lastly parking may be cumbersome. Stecki has its own parking spot but the angle is tight and requires some steermanship.

Sehr saubere Wohnung
Die Wohnung war SEHR sauber und gut ausgestattet. In der Küche hat nichts gefehlt. Zucker, Salz, Küchen- und Klopapier, alles vorhanden, das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Über das Haus fliegen in unregelmäßigen Abständen landende Verkehrsflugzeuge, uns hat das nicht gestört, aber es gibt bestimmt Leute, die das nicht mögen. Die Wohnung hat zwei Minuspunkte: Der Spiegel im Bad ist zu hoch angebracht (bei 1,67 m sieht man nur die Stirn) und die Wendeltreppe ist so eng, dass die Koffer leider unten bleiben müssen. Trotzdem würden wir wieder kommen.

Also wir waren nur für ein paar tage dort, weil wir uns köln ansehen wollten und auf einem Konzert waren. Die wohnlage ist optimal dür menschen die mit dem auto unterwegs sein wollen. In der wohnung direkt war alles top bis auf eine sache. Die wendeltreppe ist sehr sehr eng geschnitten so das wir teilweise probleme hatten hoch bzw runter zu kommen.

Ein schönes, sauberes Häuschen für einen kurz Trip nach Köln! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, Kinderstuhl wurde zur Verfügung gestellt. Parkmöglichkeit vor Ort. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei. Sowie Check in & Check out! Die Wendeltreppe nach oben zu den Schlafzimmern ist wirklich sehr steil & schmal. Für ältere Personen vielleicht etwas schwierig.

Klasse Unterkunft
Wir waren zu Dritt in dem Ferienhäuschen Stecki zur Handball Europameisterschaft in Köln. Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln. Super Unterkunft, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Kommunikation mit Vermieter hundertprozentig. Nette Begrüßung mit Kölsch und selbstgemachtem Brombeergelee ! Rundherum gelungener Aufenthalt für knapp 14 Tage. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
