very nice hotel with friendly staff. we appreciated the free water in the lobby. we came in early from our flight and they were able to check us in at around 1pm. breakfast was just okay. our room was facing the railroad but wasn’t really bothered by its noise. however, the walls are a bit thin and we can hear the neighbors slamming doors and whatnot. other than that, our stay was peaceful. the neighborhood was nice and felt safe even when walking at night. the walk to the train station was short and easy. we were there for the Christmas markets and since the cathedral is close to the train station, it was always a nice walk and we would use the main train station to get to the other markets without a hitch. would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel in Cologne
The room was very modern, clean and quiet. Wifi was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is 10 minute walk from Cathedral and Main Train Station. Nice restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Cologne.

Great location, comfy hotel
I'm thrilled I chose this hotel. It's a 5 minute walk from the main train station, meaning it was easy to get anywhere in Cologne. The communal area is quality with lots of comfy seating, wifi and charging plugs. It was busy with lots of younger people, friendly atmosphere. No complaints of the room at all, as you'd expect from a decent city hotel.

Rooms are adequately sized but on the smaller side. Good for solo travelers but not much room for more people. The beds are very comfortable. No frills, just basic amenities. Less than a 10-minute walk from Dom Hbf. There is a Rewe nearby, and if you walk a little farther, there are a few great local cafes by Eigelstein-Torburg.

Outstanding service and attention to detail. The staff were very accommodating and easy to talk to. The only black mark was a washroom that was cooler than the rest of the room. It made the first few minutes out of the shower uncomfortable. As a sort of consolation, the bathroom featured a heated towel rack. The shower was also slow to drain, leading to some initial concerns regarding flooding the suite. The breakfast selection was above average with staff making decorative coffee creations. The hotel is centrally located, with some attractions easily accessible by foot. It is located on a quiet street and away from night life.

Trendy, modern hotel in great location
This hotel was in a great location close to the train station and one of the Christmas Markets, which was the purpose of our trip. It's also just a few doors down from a supermarket. Hotel was clean, breakfast (not included) was great, and lobby was spacious (hubby hung out here while waiting for me to wake up). Also had plenty of outdoor space, especially for a city hotel. Make sure to take in the view from the roof top deck! A few "negatives" had to do with the actual room. Our room was a little on the small size, even though we paid for an Extra Space room. Didn't like that there were only outlets and a nightstand on one side of the bed. I had to plug my electronics in on the desk which was across the room. Also, not a lot of places to put your stuff. There is a weird "closet" space with some shelves but not enough for 2 of us. I ended up clearing the desk off and putting my things there. Bathroom was fine although a little on the small side. The way the shower is the floor does get a little wet but we've stayed in hotels where that is much worse. Overall we were happy with the value and would stay again.

The hotel was in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the main train station and Cologne cathedral. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we were allowed to check in early as our room was ready. The free coffee till 11:30 was brilliant and free water all day. I would definitely stay here again.
