First initial appearance was not bad, is an older motel , carpet in the 4th floor could use a good shampoo. Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Our room did have a very mist smell when we entered, very happy they had a window that we were able to open. The swimming pool is really small and had way too much chlorine in it and was not well ventilated. Breakfast was descent, and the beds were comfortable. It did the job for a one night sleep passing through Colorado Springs to DIA but could defiantly use a good cleaning and some fresh carpet.

Okay for a short stay.
Hotel was decent. Could use some upgrades but for one night it’s not that bad. The pool and hot tub are super tiny which was a little disappointing. The bed was hard and uncomfortable however I’m a pillow top type of gal. There’s a creek behind the hotel which was nice to walk down to and zen out after a long trip. Breakfast was good. Staff were super friendly and kind. Door kept jamming so I would have to use my whole body weight to open it. Overall for a short stay not too bad.

The hotel facility and room are very average and I would not want to stay more than one night, but the worst part was the woodpecker in the wall next to the bed that pecked all night and literally almost pecked through the wall. There is even a patched up hole in the room where it has done so in the past. My husband walked around outside and found at least 5 holes in various spots of the building. When he mentioned it to the staff, they knew about it, yet even so, they continue to rent out the rooms.

I soon realized this Inn is family owned and run, and they were all very friendly and eager to make guests comfortable and welcome. It was clean, had all needed amenities, and a large selection of food for the complimentary breakfast. Lovely walking trail behind the building, but some trash needed picking up to get there. To us the price seemed on the high side as this Comfort Inn is definitely a little past its prime, as is evident by some wearing of curtains, etc. But overall, we were pleased.

Decent overall for the price.
Our room was on the top floor which I loved and it was clean. The sheer curtains on the windows were dry rotted and if you tried to open or close the just shredded. Also our key cards has to be reset every day but we had some good laughs about that. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and the back patio area was awesome. The pool and hot tub needed cleaning as they were dark and scummy.
