The Suite: The guest suite is located in our walk-out basement. You will have a private entrance around the side of the house with a digital lock to check in and out at your convenience. There are no shared spaces. There are two bedrooms, one with a full size bunk bed . The other room has a queen bed.

The kitchen has includes a Full fridge/freezer, induction 2 burner cooktop, microwave, crock pot, griddle, air fryer/toaster oven. Utensils, plates, glasses, and a water cooler. The kitchen also has a dining area that seats four people. There is not a full size oven/range.

In the private bathroom, there is a shower, sink, and toilet with hair dryer and curling iron, lotions, and many other amenities.

We are an active family with kids and we live upstairs. We do our best to control the noise, but you may hear us upstairs. We haven't had any complaints yet, just making you aware. The temperature is controlled by a thermostat upstairs in our house. It can be cooler downstairs. Please let us know if you would like the temperature turned up or down and bring a sweater just in case! There are also a space heaters for your use and plenty of blankets. The fireplace is shutoff for safety purposes.

There is a washer and dryer in the unit with detergents that you can use.
We're about 1/4 mile away from a trailhead to Pulpit Rock, which offers great views of the entire mountain range; this is a great short hike we love to do!

We are very centrally located:

•15-20 minutes to Garden of the Gods,
downtown, Old Colorado City, Glenn

We live upstairs, the entry is private and space is private. We are very active so you may not see us. We are available via or phone/text to help with anything you need.

We're about 1/4 mile away from a trailhead to Pulpit Rock, which offers great views of the entire mountain range; this is a great short hike we love to do!

Getting Around:
You'll be centrally located less than 5 minutes from either I-25 or Academy (major north/south roads) with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. off of both. This is a suburban home so a car is going to be your best mode of transportation (true for most of Colorado Springs)

• Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM
• The use of marijuana in this home and on our property is not permitted.
• This space has a quiet time of 10:00pm.

This was a good location for anything in Co Springs. Quiet neighborhood. It is a full basement so some noise from host family above expected - not much at all. Not well set up for cooking a meal - no stove top - just a small oven and microwave. We mostly warmed up leftovers for dinner and were out most of the day. It was a great home base for us.

This was the perfect spot to stay for a quick get away. We needed something affordable and this was great. Very comfortable beds too. The only thing we noticed is that we got a little hot at night. Maybe a couple degrees lower would be more comfortable? I will admit we all like to sleep on the colder side, but just having that a little cooler would have been perfect.

A very satisfying visit to Colorado Springs thanks to a comfy basement apartment. The laundry was so convenient, and the microwave and toaster oven were very helpful for our oatmeal and turnover breakfasts. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Would happily stay again.

Had family coming to visit, and was looking for more space. This was perfect basement apartment, nice and cool (for summer), great location, convenient to lots of things. I specifically chose this place based on what they were offering; close to areas I was interested in, food and gas, options for sleeping washer/dryer, Wi-Fi and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The owners were friendly and helpful. Very comfortable place to stay. FYI, no kitchen area but I knew that going in, which wasn’t an issue for me. The only downside and I couldn’t take parts of a star instead of a whole is that the dryer did not work properly. I washed 6 days worth of closes to find the dryer spun but didn’t dry. Lucky 2 days later I was at a relative’s house.

Perfect Family Stay

Basement apartment below owners home. Limited kitchen facilities but everything else you need (listing very accurate in what kitchen has). Owner very responsive to needs. Walking distance to Pulpit trails, and 1.5 miles to nice bike trails. Most of stay without a car, and had no issues.
