Make yourself comfortable in this extraordinary 1928 historic large cottage perfectly located in the central part of Colorado Springs! Lovely, historic cottage right in the heart of downtown! Fully furnished with high-end Pottery Barn bedding and furniture. Owners, Sarah and Caleb Reeder, clean and operate the home themselves and respond quickly to any need.

This eye catching, quiet, and very safe neighborhood is ideal for a truly perfect vacation in Colorado Springs. Our desire is for our guests to feel exclusively considered before their arrival. Therefore, we don’t cut corners! The “Columbine Colorado” Vacation Home is perfectly outfitted with luxury furnishings and centrally located.

We have lived here our whole lives, so we know about secret hiking trails and the best places to eat in town!

Colorado is within walking distance to the Olympic Training Center as well as Memorial Hospital. And it is just 5 minutes from two golf courses; a 5 minute drive to Colorado College and downtown Colorado Springs. Pikes Peak, Cog Railway, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs are a short 12-15 minute drive. Additionally, you will be only 14 minutes to the Air Force Academy, Peterson Air Force Base and Fort Carson. 19 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport. 20 minutes to The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Our housekeeping and landscaping team work hard, and do not cut corners. You will arrive to a home that is sparkling clean, well-organized, and ready for you to enjoy. Our clean team is all in the family, and we enjoy working on the property together.

Just a few of the things we provide in our rentals that no other rentals do:

1. New towels every 6 months.
2. New bed linens every 6 months.
3. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, cotton balls, q-tips, hand lotion, Kleenex, body lotion, make-up remover wipes, a hairdryer, and toilet paper. (Believe it or not, most rentals don't provide toilet paper. They request you bring your own!)
4. We supply paper towels, dish soap and laundry detergent, and basic kitchen spices.
5. A clean team that is within the family. We take pride in our rentals, because they are our homes. We ensure that each rental is cleaned thoroughly and "little touches" of hospitality are felt by each guest.
6. We really care that you have a wonderful experience. Many other rentals are offered only for Air Force Academy events or certain weeks a year, and the owner has very little experience in maintaining a quality VRBO. We have 14 years of expertise in running a VRBO, and to ensure our guests have the greatest stay in Colorado Springs possible!

Check in as early as 4PM, and check out as late as 10AM.

FABULOUS hosts and property!!!

Awesome Place to Stay

This is a wonderful property with AMAZING owners! They go out of their way to make your stay in Colorado Springs perfect! The check-in and checkout process is so easy! The house is immaculate, the rooms are spacious and cozy, the fireplace is great and easy to use, the beds and bedding are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with a great size refrigerator. We loved the outdoor area, fire pit and hot tub. The location is in a perfect spot, short drive to everything-hiking, pikes peak, manitou springs, Garden of the Gods, etc and great restaurants. Walking distance to coffee shops and ice cream. I loved all of their thoughtful and very detailed recommendations for hiking, things to do and good restaurants. This is by far one of the best properties we have ever rented. It is evident that they take great pride in what they do, and making us all feel very special and at home! Highly recommend!

We planned a Spring Break getaway with our older kids to Colorado Springs and chose this property for our stay. I can"t say enough nice things. It is a darling home and feels like a home away from home. We were greeted with fresh baked cookies and a warm welcome. This cottage was extremely clean and so very cute! It is very tastefully decorated and not lacking in amenities. And the details (even fresh flowers) finished everything off perfectly. Sarah was an excellent host and was very responsive. We loved the recommendations for local eats and tried several! Highly recommend staying here! We definitely would book again if we come back to the Springs!

Amazing cottage!

Our family of 4 stayed here last week for several nights over a kids' school break and...WOW. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this one was by far the best. The cottage was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we could have needed. It was very well-stocked with linens/pillows/blankets, paper products, cleaning supplies, every kitchen appliance or utensil you might need, spices and coffee, flip-flips and towels for the hot tub, cornhole, basketballs and footballs, the list goes on and on. The freshly baked cookies waiting for us were an added bonus! The owner provided all the info we would need and were super responsive with the one question that we had about using the hot tub. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

Right when we walked into the house it felt like a home. There was holiday decorations up and freshly baked cookies made. The location was great, rooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Sarah went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I cannot recommend this property enough. Very Clean and Convenient Location

Stayed for a couple nights to explore the area. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Had a question that she was very quick to respond to and assist with. In terms of short term rentals - it was immaculate. Also, I loved that we did not walk in to find a laundry list of unnecessary rules written down everywhere. A very simple binder with important information and local recommendations next to excellent cookies! The hot tub was very clean and relaxing. The beds are comfy and have plush linens and pillows. Would definitely rent again without hesitation.

The Best Nest in Colorado Springs

Three long friends attended the Rocky Mountain Womens' Film Festival and stayed in this lovely home. From the luxurious bedding and a kitchen stocked to perfection, to the beautiful design touches complete with original art, our group was in heaven. We even decided to stay at home 2 of the 3 nights of our visit. The hosts were wonderful with their communications and even provided PDF's with hiking/activities, favorite restaurants etc. I have rented many many houses on VRBO and this was hands down the best.

Wonderful Hosts!

We attend the Firefighter Memorial every year since 2005 & this is the 1st time we stayed in a VRBO instead of a hotel. Sarah was very responsive to any and all questions and helped us quickly resolve a change to our itinerary. The house is in a wonderful location & they have done an excellent job in their renovation of the property. She even made us homemade cookies! Highly recommend if you are visiting the Springs!

Home away from home.

This was one of the best VRBO experiences I have ever had. The hosts have thought of everything. Tastefully decorated, well stocked and plenty of things to do inside and out. My son enjoyed the hot tub each night, playing corn hole, basketball and working the puzzles. It was a very comfortable house.

Beautiful, convenient and excellent communication

Family of four with 2 under two. Property was very well kept, great layout, great yard and great location. Owners had a variety of toys and furniture helpful with a toddler and a baby.
