First time Vrbo users, was less than impressed
Overall, the unit was clean, the bed was comfortable. The main issue was we were awakened both nights by a larger than mouse rodent chewing on whatever. I understand it's that time of year when they like to be warm. The reason i say larger than mouse is because my husband seen him face to face. We called the manager and told them about the situation that there was a large hole under the kitchen sink where the pipes come into the sink. Nothing was done, so my husband I and went to Wal-Mart to buy traps and steel wool. We never got to see if we caught him or not because we left two days early than planned. Now I understand why they are so adamant about taking out the garbage. One other issue was the fire alarm from the next-door unit must have had a low battery because that beep was constant. Again, the Manager was notified, and not fixed. The driveway was in need of repair due to erosion and parts of it chipped away. We spent most of our time in Manitou, which I would stay there next time. It say's "Mountain View" but you have to go outside to the firepit to see the Mountains, which the chair pads were covered with frozen snow, so we never got to enjoy the open fire. Overall, the management was not satisfactory, but the unit was clean and kept nice. For what we paid in cleaning fees, I could have stayed in a Hotel for the same price. Apparently, the cleaning crew does not check kitchen cabinets, because the size of the rodent droppings were HUGE!

Unbelievably perfect location
Home was very nice and extremely close to Pikes Peak and numerous hikes and activities. Although there is an air conditioner in the property, it is a portable one in the closet you will need to set up and vent through the window to use. There are ceiling vents that put out hot and cold air, but the controls for these are in a different unit so you will need to close those to prevent getting an uncomfortable blast. The heater is a baseboard unit in the kitchen area controlled by an on wall thermostat. There are no instructions or indications on using either in the unit or the online description. It is a pet friendly apartment and has carpeting throughout, so be aware if you need to avoid pet hair. The space was nice enough and there was a hot plate in the kitchen, which was good because the grill did not work. The firepit was awesome with a beautiful view. Overall, it was comfy enough for us to enjoy our nights - especially after we got the information on the air conditioner. Comfortable bed. Great for a couple.

Great little getaway
Absolutely loved the feel of being out of town yet still so close! 5 stars overall. Great location, cozy and comfortable space, surrounded by great view. The only downside to our getaway was the obnoxiously loud guests that we shared a wall with. Unfortunately they were loud at all hours of the day and throughout the night.

Thanksgiving Break Vacation
Our stay at this property was pretty good. There are less amenities than expeced, like we were lacking an oven and dishwasher, but it was no big deal. The grill was out of propane so we were not able to grill out as planned. The location is phenomenal, it is about a 10-15 minute drive from all major areas and sites you would want to visit, and right across the street from a pretty decent restaraunt. My biggest gripe is the drive way entrance is very uneven and torn up, it would hit the underside of my car everytime I drove into the parking area, and there is no option to park outside of the driveway. Overall the stay was very enjoyable.

Empty Nest Celebration
The property was in a good location, nice, quiet, and relatively close to everywhere we wanted to visit. It was clean and comfortable. Not really a complaint, but the shower had low water pressure and probably needs to be checked out. Overall, it’s a great little property and we would not hesitate to visit again!
