This hotel was really good to stay at in Cripple Creek. The hotel was updated. The saltgrass restaurant was directly across the street. And you can catch the shuttle to anywhere in Cripple Creek. The front staff was very nice and accommodating. Definitely would stay here again.

Terrible stay. Not worth it.
This experience was one of the worst hotel experiencesnive ever had. When i got to the room, there was still trash scattered around the room. The bed was roughly made, and the Fire alarm went off around midnight causing my wife and i to say out in the cold for an hour!!

When we got there the elevators were not working. So we had to lug the luggage up to the 2ed floor. My husband has a bad ankle and is looking at surgery next month. This mini vacation was for us to get away and not think about want was in our future. But instead having to take the stair got him to hurting really bad. So we didn't enjoy the stay as much as we had hoped.

Every year I have a birthday and I stay at the Golden Nugget. I enjoyed the location and I also enjoy the staff. I don’t enjoy it only having one shuttle in the whole town of cripple creek. They need at least two shuttles going at all times and there’s a lot of people that need shuttle service, and one shuttle is not taking care of the people that go do gambling that’s all of the complaint I have. I wish I’d win one of these years instead of losing but I had a good time I took my daughter
