Positive experience.
Stayed 2 nights for business. Staff was friendly and attentive. Room and hotel were very clean and looked like it had been recently remodeled On the 2nd evening the room next to mine had a barking dog, they moved me right away to a bigger and nicer room. I'm a runner and the lake / walking trail behind the hotel was an added bonus.

The staff was welcoming and helpful; room was very clean as far as hard surfaces, and all necessary items were there. However dining area looked clean but smelled like raw eggs - like the cleaning process was not thorough; upholstered furniture in room was terribly worn and stained. Overall the hotel had nice outside areas BUT the front porch ended up being a smoking lounge so couldn’t enjoy the rockers and although the gazebo area was nice and well appointed, the upholstery on the furniture was flat and stained as well. Altogether I had a good experience but they really need to invest in updating the furniture and get away from upholstery at least in the rooms.

Our stay here for 7 nights was an absolute pleasure. This is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. The up keep of the building & grounds is top notch. The entire staff was very friendly & would engage in conversations if they had time, even the contractors working on site were very friendly. The desk clerks always welcomed us back. They were very accommodating with any request we had. The hotel has a guest laundry that appears to be quite new and worked as advertised. The housekeeping staff was accommodating with new linens when requested. There is a separate smoking area outside away from any entrance so that non-smokers do not have to walk through a crowd of smokers. The smoking area had several comfortable chairs available and was shaded with trees. There is a lake out the back of the hotel with access to a walking path. Shopping & restaurants are nearby. Overall, I would give our stay here 10 stars if possible. We will definitely stay here the next time we come down to visit our family. I cannot rave enough about this place.

I have to take away a star due to noisy air conditioner unit. But otherwise a great stay. We loved the direct access to the walking trail around the small lake!

We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn. The staff were kind and efficient. The room was clean, well appointed and beds were comfortable, allowing us a restful night of sleep. Continental Breakfast and coffee was delicious and extra bonus.
