The front desk staff was especially wonderful, sharing fascinating details about the building’s history and the local area, which gave us an even deeper appreciation for our stay. The common space is both inviting and inspiring—a perfect spot to relax, explore creativity, and enjoy quality time. With games and magazines available, it naturally encourages connection and togetherness. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight, offering a delightful spread that felt both comforting and indulgent. It was the perfect way to start the day! Our room was beautifully decorated with classy eclectic touches that felt both luxurious and cozy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every amenity was thoughtfully provided. We truly wanted—and needed—nothing more. Hotel Trundle blends charm, history, and modern comfort seamlessly. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. Love this place! We’ve stayed here many many times and love to return. The rooms are spacious and well outfitted. The team is very kind and helpful and especially accommodating. I highly recommend staying here whenever possible.

Trundle Hotel is definitely a Unicorn! What a beautiful little gem! Fabulous, warm, welcoming staff! Complimentary drink at check-in, comfy robes and complimentary private labeled bottle water in room, complimentary breakfast…I mean, who does this?! Definitely NOT the big chain hotels! All for a very reasonable price! The funky Art Deco decor was amazing! The lobby is a cozy, fun, community area you want to spend time relaxing in. We were pleasantly surprised and very impressed! Definitely will be returning on our next trip to Columbia! A Experience!

This property and ALL of the staff are fabulous! I love boutique hotels and this one is now at the top of the list as one of my favorites. The decor is nice. The beds are comfy. It’s walking distance to restaurants and shopping. They offer free breakfast and did I mention complimentary wine and popcorn upon checking in!!! I will be back!!!

Liked the ambiance of the hotel. Negatives were inadequate water pressure in the shower and bathroom sink was too narrow, so water splashed onto clothing unless we were careful to severely reduce water flow from the faucet.

Welcoming for ALL!
Hotel Trundle has the coziest vibe inside. Once you walk inside for check in you are greeted and provided with a complementary choice of a glass of wine or beer as well as a bag of caramel popcorn. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were exceptional and friendly. My wife and I are a same sex couple and we were treated just as anyone else would be and for us that is refreshing. We were comfortable being ourselves and not judged which unfortunately we have experienced elsewhere. We will absolutely return to Hotel Trundle anytime we visit Columbia!

The Trundle was a charming hotel with a nice combination of cozy warmth and elegance. The staff was delightful, the interior design of the entire hotel was beautiful and inviting, When we were waiting for the rest of our friends to arrive, it did not feel like you were sitting in a "lobby" but in someone's home. We look forward to coming back!
