Reserved my room in advance since I was traveling from out of town for an event which I purchased tickets for. Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm, but a room was not ready until nearly 5pm, which put me way behind schedule. Although, I was lucky because they were turning others away who had also previously reserved a room and paid in advance, telling them they could try to get a refund from whomever they booked the room from. I saw this when I finally got my room key and again when I returned from the event I had planned. After checking in a made a couple of requests for things to be fixed in my room, such as not being able to turn on the television, and asking for a stopper for the bathtub, while the front desk said that they would contact maintenance to correct these issues, they were not addressed during my stay. I addition, the floor appeared not to have been swept being as there was trash near the floorboards, not all of the lights worked, the curtain was falling, the mattress had a permanent dent, the bed frame made noise upon sitting down, and the mattresses fitted sheet looked somewhat stained not even staying on the mattress itself, there was only one small pillow, and one towel that looked barely bigger than a hand towel. If I didn’t already have plans and was not already set back a couple hours because of check-in being delayed, I would have asked for a refund and left to find something more acceptable.
