There was a rat in the parking lot near the front entrance when we arrived, and the front doors were inoperative, and had signs directing use of side doors, carpeting in the hallways was stained and dirty looking, cracked and mildewed tile in the bathroom, I cancelled my stay for Saturday night 10-19-24, but was charged because it was not done before 11:00 am, I stayed that night a the Marriott Residence Inn-OSU, I was extremely disappointed with the Red Roof Inn, I have stayed in Red Roof inns in the past and never had a problem, I am surprised the company allows this franchise to use their name.

I went and checked in and as soon as we walked in the building there was an overwhelming smell of weed smell. Upon arriving in our room there were stains all over the bed as well as the curtains and the wall. When I went to use the restroom the toilet paper holder fell out of the wall. Do not recommend to anyone.

motel is run down, hallways are dirty, room hasn't been dusted in a long time, bathroom is in dyer need of reno, pictures on website are not valid, do not show present condition or true reflexion of the place. property adjoins another motel which has crackheads hoes and other questionables around.Had to get up through the night to check car was still there and not damaged. had booked 2 nights but left after 1. Spoke with woman manager about it ,they are well aware of their problems both their own and the problems not in their control from adjoining property. Would not give me a refund for 1 night. Beware of this place

Check in went smooth, had to do a 100$ deposit , that said i would get it back within 3 buisness days, today is the 3rd day and i havnt gotten it back. Blankets had cigarette burns, AC was dirty and things that should be white were yellow with most likely nicotine since it smelled of it too. Tried adding the photos but hotels app isnt allowing

Staff did their best, but the sink in bathroom could not empty water, the shower sprayed all over the place, the hallway carpets were stained dirty, the noisy refrigerator kept me awake during the night. Some of the furniture was decrepit; the back parking lot was dark and desperately needs lighting to discourage would be theives, etc. A bad experience, but I trust for the immigrant people who seem to be running the place that attention can be given to bring this facility to a higher rating. It certainly has a great location.

Friendly staff, far below average room
Staff was friendly. That was the only real positive. Cleanliness and maintenance were an issue. Towels were worn and stained, the bed was so worn out when you sit down you can feel the strings in the mattress. Also, the air conditioning did not blow enough cool air to keep the room at a comfortable temperature.
