Very poor mamagement
Took a very long time to check in. There was only one person working at the check in desk and he was overwhelmed. He said the hotel had cut staff and he really needed another person. I had to stand and wait at the desk for a least 15 min while he disappeared to go to a room where there was a problem. After we go settled in our room and were resting in bed some strangers used their card key to get into our room. They opened our door. We told them they had the wrong room and they left. Intried calling the desk but no answer so I got dressed and went down there. He was on the phone and even though i told him what had happened he said he was going to be awhile on the phone so he would call me when he was done. I retuned to my room and found that my card key no longer worked. My husband got dressed and went back to the desk to get new key cards and complained about the whole thing. He was told that the manager had come to give the current employee a break and rented our room to another guest giving them keys to our room. Their incompetence caused us a lot of upset. Our privacy was invaded and had we not been in our room they would have had access to all our belongings. The final straw was a false fire alarm that went off at 3:30 in the morning. My husband went out to investigate and the lobby area was filled with smoke. Someone had set fire to something in the microwave located in the lobby. So that’s the end of my sleep for tonight. I wish we had not stayed here!
