Our stay was lovely. Comfy, clean bedroom! The staff accommodated our volleyball boys and served breakfast earlier, on a Sat. and Sun., than planned so we could get them on the court all feed. One of my best experiences has been staying at this location. Everyone was accommodating and friendly.

I would have rated this hotel excellent except for a couple of problems. First, I was not told at the time of booking that parking was an additional charge. Second, the first night of my stay in room 243 the whole floor vibrated, present whether lying, sitting, or standing. Gone by the morning.

The room is new and updated. The beds were extremely comfortable and felt luxurious! Convenient my located near the local shopping and dining. Very convenient as an alternative to staying in Berkeley for parent’s weekend at Cal.

Checked in around 1am and was given a room that already had a guest, we both had an unpleasant surprise as I walked in. Then I was moved to another room that had been prepared for disabled people, not sure what the heck compelled them to give me that one, when there were plenty of other rooms, and, it was impossible to take a shower there given the bathroom configuration. Overall I seem to get the worse rooms when booking through Expedia.
