Casa Nomada was incorporated into our collection in 2019. It is a chic Atlantic beach house, a short (1km) walk or bike ride from one of the most spectacular stretches of sand on the Costa de la Luz. Set towards the back of the Roche estate, the location is quiet, yet it is less than 5 minutes by bike to the local store (fresh bread), bar, and playground. And in the summer months, there are several of Cadiz’s famous chiringuitos (beach bars) within walking distance. Having said all this, this is a house you will want to spend time in; it has been designed precisely for this, and it offers just that bit more than your average beach house!

The property underwent a major refurbishment last year, the result being a well-proportioned and well-distributed single-storey house, cosey for couples but at the same time comfortable for groups of up to 10. There is a good-sized pool (9x4) with a well-protected terrace and covered outdoor bar, the garden has a number of umbrella pines, which provide just the right amount of sun and shade, and there is ample open lawn for children to play.

The L-shaped construction works perfectly as holiday accommodation, with the open-plan living area (sitting-room and dining-room) and kitchen making up the main block, with the bedroom wing running down one side. This formation also provides the ideal backdrop for the sheltered pool area. There are 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms (all with large walk-in showers). The main bedroom’s bathroom is en suite.

A walk of about 800m will take us to the local shop, pharmacy, a couple of bars and restaurants, and childrens’ playground. Roche also has its own tennis and padel courts and five-a-side football pitches. In the summer months, there are several beach bars/restaurants to choose from within walking distance, some of which are now staying open all year. A 5-minute drive will then provide you with a far larger selection of both bars and restaurants. The area offers an endless list of activities and if you book with us, we provide you with detailed information on all our recommendations, details on local amenities, and our up-to-date guide to the best of everything! You could spend a wonderful holiday here without a car, and just hire bikes; but, assuming you will have a car, it’s 15 minutes to Conil, 20 minutes to the hill-top village of Vejer-de-la-Frontera, 30 minutes to Cadiz, 40 minutes to Tarifa and Jerez, and 90 minutes to Seville, all of which are well worth visiting.

Tolles Haus für einen Urlaub am Atlantik
Ein wunderbares Haus, um eine gute Zeit zu genießen. Die Kommunikation mit Andrew und Maria war sehr gut und der Check in/out absolut hervorragend. Lediglich die Küche ist zur Versorgung von 8-10 Personen etwas klein. Mit nur zwei vorhandenen Töpfen war etwas Kreativität gefragt, jedoch war alles im machbaren Rahmen. Insgesamt hatten wir eine tolle Zeit in einem schönen Haus, welches liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Der Außenbereich hat uns absolut begeistert.

Una buena elección
Cómodo y tranquilo. Cocina bien equipada y toda la casa muy limpia. Sólo he echado en falta poder limpiar el fondo de la piscina porque se acumulan agujas de los pinos de la zona, pero el agua estaba muy limpia. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. Propiedad muy recomendable.
