Check in was painfully slow, staff did not appear to be well trained. We ate in the Tap Room for late lunch and the food and service there was quite good. Room service only available between 7.00am - 10am and 5pm - 8.30pm. You could smell the smoke from people smoking on balcony below in our room which was extremely disappointing.

This is a great place for a holiday, as it is close to shopping and has excellent facilities onsite. The golf course is beautiful, and the staff services are outstanding.

Everyone was so friendly and proud of what they where doing as if they where running their own business not just working for a wage. We didn't feel just like another guest we felt welcomed and like nothing was to much to accommodate us. The cocktails where very impressive as was the food. It was everything we needed after a hard day. Thank you to everyone Gold Star from us.

Rained a lot while we were there but the golf course outlook was beautiful, and watching the kangaroos was relaxing. Nice room, good room service - food arrived Still hot. (Room lighting was a bit too dim)

The perfect parents escape
I actually booked this for my son and his wife. There youngest child has not slept through for 18 months and they were somewhat 'broken'. They live in perth and wanted somewhere where they didnt have to drive too far (they live 10 minutes away!) and they also wanted something that gave them activities. The golf course was perfect as was the Spa treatment options. They also chose to book daily breakfast and booked the dining room each night. Basically they just needed to stay in a one stop shop! I was able to fly in from Interstate and look after the children for the 2 nights that they stayed. They may have gone straight back into the Lions den on their return but at least they had a couple of nights together.

Large room but a bit cold
Staff were friendly and inviting,location is a 5 minute drive to shops, room was clean and large, extremely nice room however it take the room ages to warm up and the reverse cycle is much to small for the room. Had to sleep with jumpers on to keep warm. Not sure if i would stay there again.

A Great Place to Stop.
We were late getting in but they were welcoming and informative. Our room was better than we had expected but we had to wait until the next morning g to appreciate the view. It was good and it tipped the scales in making our decision on whether to stay another day or not. We will use this place again.
