Central location within 100m of Bowling Club, Chinese restaurant and easy walk to centre of town. Comfortable bed and best shower pressure ever. Will definitely stay again.

Clean and presentable, with a pleasant new owner. Let down by the absence of room service, but otherwise good value for money. Disappointed that we were directed to the local hotel for an evening meal, when the host (apparently) knew that they were booked out, but didn’t mention that the motel restaurant across the road had an open and functioning restaurant (where we dined, well)

Sadly the noise from the fridge ticking off and on constantly all night did not allow me to sleep . The light on entry did not work . This was not a king room . A double bed with a single bed. We booked this motel as it had a restaurant- sadly on arrival there was a paper sign on the desk advising the restaurant was closed ‘temporarily’.

A lovely Motel In Coonabarabran, the managers are new and are so friendly . The rooms are a great size with a very comfortable pillow top bed. There is a small table and chairs, microwave, toaster , kettle , fresh milk and some delicious biscuits as well in the room. The room has been renovated but the bathrooms have not, although the bathrooms are in need of a renovation the shower is hot with great water pressure. I’d recommend this Motel to travellers.

Our go-to stay.
This is our go-to stay when travelling between Qld and SA. Always comfortable and clean. The shower cubicle is “different” but clean and hot. Reception was quick and easy. Walkable to shops etc. Highly recommended.

Nothing over the top, but comfortable
Called during said office hours to confirm booking and arrange late check in as I wasn’t arriving until about midnight. Woman on the phone was huffing a bit almost complaining as she’d already shut the computer down etc. then couldn’t find my booking for which I’d already had a confirmation for. The conversation ended with her stating the key would be under the mat if she received confirmation at her end on time, I travelled for several hours wondering if in fact I was going to have accommodation at all.. I feel she could have perhaps called or even just send me a text to put my mind at ease. Room was quite comfortable until the sound of cleaners in the next room woke me at around 8am.
