The pictures of the outside of this hotel are not from this hotel at all. This company has two hotels, one on the square and another one on the edge of town. The one on the edge of town has the outside pathway and the beautiful (but freezing) pool. They allow you to use the other place for free but it is NOT where you actually stay. That hotel is a whole other place. It's very misleading!

The hotel itself in clean and centrally located. The customer service needs some help. It itook a while to convince the front desk woman I had paid in full with my credit card. In fact, I had already made a payment on the purchase at that point. Then in Spanish, she told my friend who was with me how rude I was. She also refused to allow any guests into our room. We had friends in town and we wanted to watch Game of Thrones together and she would not allow it. No guests are allowed in the rooms on her shift at all. It was a rather abrupt way to speak to paying hotel guests.

Older hotel but quant. Bath smelled horribly of sewer but corrected after shower was used :). Staff was exceptional! Could not ask for nicer people. Made my stay very pleasant.

Great hotel to stay at. Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decent but the air conditioner made noise ALL night and kept waking us every so often. Your stay comes with free breakfast but the breakfast is a 5 at best. They didn’t seem please that they weren’t getting paid directly and there was hair and egg shell in the eggs.

Love the hotel, cute, and very Accommodating
I loved the Hotel and everything was perfect. Except the noise outside. People chanting and singing, dogs fighting, you could hear everything. The continental breakfast was delicious. Marco the bartender was very nice. It was the perfect weekend getaway for us Americans stationed in Honduras... The hotel was in a prime location in the middle of downtown. Very good pizza nearby also. I felt very safe! Would recommend.

Great Location and Good Vibes
During our trip we stayed in hotels in San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa, & Copan. The Hotel Camino Maya was our favorite. The room and hotel were clean. The location was easy to find. There were food and souvenir vendors in the streets. There were a couple of bars to go to at night. The rooms were modern and Up-to-Date. We were able to walk to the Mayan Ruins. We rented a car and parked on the street and had no problems. Although there were other tourists there, there was still a sense of an authentic Honduran experience.
