This property is rated 4 stars, for the price you could find better value at mecure and newer. Locations is great on front of water. It’s an old style hotel, it’s very clean, rooms need an update, no black out curtains or sound barrier in our room. The breakfast is great, other than that I wouldn’t stay there again, as there better modern properties at the same or less price.

Beautifully decorated property with a staff that really makes you feel at home. Eager to help and give good advice. I love the way each room features a different classic designer. Beautiful public spaces and excellent breakfast in the adjacent restaurant. Convenient to walk or take public transportation anywhere.

Clean room but small. The concept is around chairs but with the extra bed added to our room for our toddler and the 4 chairs added for design, we had absolutely no space! We had to move one ourselves and even so there was not enough space still. Then the hotel staff was not unified and 3 of them were okay and encouraged us to park our bike outside whereas one of the staff was extremely rude and came running outside to tell us we are not allowed even though her colleagues said we were. So, essentially we couldn't use the rail outside the hotel to secure our bike even though we were hotel guests! Finally and most importantly the area is very noisy from afternoon to midnight with extremely loud music coming from some nearby theatres. This makes it very kid and family unfriendly and essentially inconvenient. The location in terms of public transport is good but we mainly used our bike (that we had to park not outside of the hotel!). Overall I wouldn't come back or recommend it, certainly not nearly adequate for a 4* hotel.

Location great mixed feelings
The wi-fi was frustrating. Didn’t last long enough to plan next day’s activities, let alone cast streaming services. Only one English channel (news) available on television. FYI, no laundry facilities, but laundry service option. Location was excellent. Reception staff was helpful. Had a couple room problems that were not resolved but livable maybe because we didn’t leave key with desk.

I love this hotel! The staff was so nice and always remembered who we were when coming/going. There is a lovely sitting area downstairs where they have happy hour and guests can chat, play cards/games, etc. with nice music playing. The attached restaurant was very good and had a closed off outdoor patio eating area that we really enjoyed. Room was so nice. I can't wait to go back!

Great hotel and location
Staff were excellent. Info sent by email few days before was extremely helpful. Comfortable bed. The front of hotel is on a busy road but we were on the side, so very quiet, though windows seem quite well sound proofed. Only downer is the water coming under the shower curtain snd wetting the floor. Free glass of wine between 5-6 a very nice touch.
