Perfect Stay in Beaune
We had a lovely stay at at Moulin de Cussigny. The house was charming, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well outfitted with modern appliances and cookware for a family to cook meals. The location was extremely convenient to the town of Beaune, 20 minutes with many excellent restaurants and wineries close by in the Cote du Nuits region. Also the country setting next to a farm, with a stream and fields was so peaceful and charming. Jean Luis, the host was available to answer questions or help with recommendations. The only bit of caution is the third bedroom is the attic so the stairs up to this bedroom are steep. Overall a lovely stay in an incredible part of the world.

A Gite in Burgundy
This is a lovingly renovated old barn that the owner Jean Philippe clearly devoted a lot of time and attention. It is located in a pastoral setting that is very quiet and peaceful. It is a 20 minute drive to Beaune so a car is absolutely essential as there is nothing else close by for things like groceries.. It has a very French vibe to it and you do get a sense of history here. The gite has a well stocked kitchen and the water pressure for showers and cleaning is the best we've ever experienced. Jean Philippe is an excellent host and very approachable. All in all an ideal getaway for up to 6 people, perhaps 8 if 2 are children. Do note that the 3rd floor bedroom is reachable via a set of steep stairs. At the time we were there it was quite buggy due to a wet spring so we were unable to enjoy the outside. The only thing to point out is that the pictures on the website are out of date but Jean Philippe said he would update.the website with new pictures.

Such a magical place!
Loved everything about this cozy, clean, beautiful property. A true restored 17th-century mill, yet with all the modern conveniences and super comfortable. Very well-stocked kitchen where you can cook anything. The kids enjoyed running around the property, searching out the cat, picking wildflowers, and exploring the river. We loved having Jean-Phillipe as our host, he was always available to answer questions and tell us more about the history of the property. We'll defintely be back!

Another quaint stay
This is our third time staying at Jean-Philippe‘s gîte. We love the countryside setting but ease of getting to all the lovely places in Côte d’Or. Jean-Philippe is an exceptional host and easy to communicate with. The cottage’s kitchen is full equipped, it has wonderful showers, and the excellent location is one of the highlights. We hope to stay many more times in this lovely cottage. Merci Jean-Philippe! Until next time, we bid you adieu!

Positively Idyllic
This gite is amazing. Very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped and the setting is just beautiful. We were in the country but close to everything Burgundy has to offer. We did several wine tastings and all the restaurants are fantastic. Jean Philippe is a wonderful host. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable spacious clean gite. Jean Philippe is a friendly host and always stopped for a chat. The garden is huge with a stream running through it, which makes it great for viewing the wild life. There is also a lovely cat on site too! The gite is perfectly located to visit Dijon, Beaune and many other wine villages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will add this property to our favourites list.

Excellent countryside cottage
Jean Philippe was a very kind and friendly host and the home was very charming and well suited for our family visit. Located on a lovely quiet dirt road amidst several farms not far from the intersection of the Cote de Beaune and the Cote de Nuits. Highly recommended.

Quaint & Quiet - Perfection!
We enjoyed our return to the gite. We love the quiet country setting with ease of getting to Beaune or the Route Des Grands Crus. You’ll find a wonderful host, happy to help with local information, or suggestions based on your needs. The gîte is comfortable and we love cooking our own meals. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner! As we stayed for ten days so having access to a washer & dryer is always welcomed. We hope to return to the gîte, sooner than later! Merci!

If you are looking for peace, tranquility, and a babbling stream then this is your gite! M. Le Fils is an exceptional host and the location is everything we wanted... I am so happy that we returned. We enjoyed quiet days and trips into the nearby cities/villages of Beaune, Nuit St. George, Corgoloin, Volnay, .... Pour moi, Parfaite!

Burgundy Country Cottage
This was the perfect location for two couples to explore the Burgundy wine region. Close enough to Beaune for dining and groceries, but located in the quiet countryside. Jean Philippe was a great host and everything was perfect in the property. The kitchen is very well supplied with everything we needed.

Fantastic Property with Friendly Owner
The property is a 16th century structure that has been modernized for year round use. It’s quiet and off the main road but only a 20 minute drive to Beaune. Jean Philippe was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to converse with. Linens are available so any potential renters should contact him if linens are desired. My family and I had a wonderful stay and would happily stay I again.

Perfection in the French Countryside
Words and pictures can not properly describe how fantastic Moulin de Cussigny is. We chose this property based on the wonderful previous reviews and they were all accurate. The house was beautifully decorated with lovely French charm and modern amenities. It was perfectly fresh and clean as well as extremely well equipped. We truly loved the location being countryside with woods and a river right outside the door. Truly the epitome of peace, quiet and nature at its best. Our family of five are all runners and we felt we hit the jackpot with the endless amounts of running options. With all of that has been said, the very best part of our experience was JP and his family. JP was accessible at all times for information as well as just a great person to talk with. Him and his family took such great care of us even to the point of providing a birthday celebration for our daughter. We truly felt like a part of their family by the time we left. We feel very grateful to have found JP, his family and Le Moulin.

Pleasant stay in Corgoloin
Nice cottage in the countryside about 15 minutes from Beaune. The house is off a an unpaved road but there are signs - just keep following them. The house is clean and well equipped. The outdoor space is large and scenic with a grill at the renter’s disposal. The tracking owners were welcoming and very helpful. We came to visit wineries and were in easy reach of the main areas of Burgundy. A few things to mention: - The bathroom on the ground floor is very small but functional. - Bring insect spray and allergy medicine as there are many flowers and honeysuckle vines growing around the windows do draw bees and other insects - The steps to the top floor are very steep

Perfect location for a Bourgogne getaway. JP was/is a gracious host and yes, Figaro is a welcome neighbor (watch out, though, if you play pétanque in the evening as he may cause a ‘kitty-foul’). I’m so glad we found this location, and we will be back!

Great Burgundy Wine Region Stay
The house was in a secluded area of the wine region. Very quite and in a beautiful setting. We were two couples and the home was set up great for easy bedroom and bathroom use. Even though the home is in a secluded setting with a few farm houses around, it's not to far from Beaune so as to shop and enjoy wine tasting excursions. Jean-Phillipe was very helpful and informative about the region and was able to set us up with a tasting that was fabulous. After traveling for a few weeks, the stay was just what we needed to wind down and relax. After exploring the region and tasting during the day, we could come home and relax and make a meal from the wine and local produce we picked up in the area.

Absolutely Devine!
What a delightful gîte to come home to after spending time wine tasting, driving the Route des Grande Cru, or after spending time exploring Beaune. Jean-Philippe is accessible and we enjoyed our chats. Figaro, the resident cat, was just the welcome wagon we needed. We enjoyed the lovely grounds, excellent kitchen, and had plenty of space for the family. The upstairs did require my 6’5” tall husband to duck, but we certainly expect this while traveling in Europe. I particularly was happy to discover an iron, and hair dryer. The laundry was easy to work, and the cooking utensils were spot on. It took a wee bit to find the wine glasses, but with so many kitchen items it is understandable to have them in a cabinet. Our outdoor dinners were too few, but that was due to rain. We loved the evenings eating outside and were excited to see a hedgehog family passing by! We hope to return sooner than later! You won’t be disappointed with the views, location, and attentiveness of the host. See you soon JP!

Incredible time in Beaune wine region
Absolutely perfect for our visit to the Beaune wine region. The home had all we needed for our stay- beds were comfortable and well appointed bathrooms. Since we were traveling efficiently, nice to have washer and dryer. We were two couples and had plenty of room. Jean-Phillipe was a gracious host and being from the region, had many tips and suggestions. After a busy day exploring, we would return to relax outside with our wine and cheese purchases of the day. So peaceful and picturesque!

Lovely, well appointed and peaceful.
Very nice house in a park-like setting near beautiful Burgundy vineyards. Definitely country, away from city life... with working farms all around. There are nice towns for great restaurants within 15 minutes drive. Beaune and Nuits St. Goerge are two such towns and are lauded for their wines In fact the "Route des Crus" - the wine tasting route is within four minutes of the house and there is great wine tasting all along it. For a bigger city, Dijon is a 40 minute drive. The house is nicely decorated, very clean, and well appointed. Views from windows are on the lush back yard. A creek on the property adds to the peace and calm. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a charming, peaceful, out of the way stay in true Burgundy wine country!

Peaceful, quiet and homely.
Beautiful and quietly tucked away in the village of Cussigny in Corgoloin. This accommodation provided all we needed in terms of home comfort and self catering. We enjoyed the bbq/open fires, walks through the farm area surrounds while being in close proximity to Beaune and neighbouring towns and vineyards. Definitely need a car. Would certainly visit again. Thank you Jean Philippe you have a wonderful place.
