Beautiful setting, but room for improvement

We enjoyed a peaceful stay in this beautiful waterfront location — the views, especially at sunset from the balcony were truly breathtaking and made for a relaxing escape from the city. However, several aspects of our stay fell short. The house was very dirty on arrival and we had to clean before settling in. The oven wasn’t working, and the amenities provided were minimal — basic essentials like hand soap, tea bags and cooking oil were missing. While the setting itself is lovely, the lack of cleanliness and attention to guest comfort means we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

What a wonderful break - views to die for. Wish we’d had longer.

I booked this apartment for 2 nights with a friend from overseas. It was perfect. Literally on the beach with the most amazing sea views. The apartment itself is super comfortable and extremely well kitted out. Would easily accomodate 6 people. We had dinner on the balcony on night two, overlooking the most serene view. Pelicans. Boats. Beach. Sunset. I slept like a baby thanks to the great aircon which is so important for me!! Grant and Ryan were fabulous as hosts. I would absolutely recommend and return!

Awesome location

My family and I stayed for 1 week over Christmas. The location and views are amazing. The host was very responsive. Karen and Chris who resided in the bottom level who also helped with the running of the property were so lovely and welcoming. Will be booking again!

Idyllic getaway

My husband, daughter and 20 month granddaughter spent a week at this property. We were very lucky with the weather and took advantage of the location right on the beach as we could go downstairs and just spend a little while on the beach with our baby granddaughter. We loved eating out on the verandah especially having drinks and nibbles at dusk.

Breathtaking

We had an amazing time! Between the spacious apartment, perfect beach setting, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, "on the beach" didn't fall short of breathtaking. The kids were excited and had so much fun in the water. We can't wait to be back soon!

Beautiful spot

Spent a great three nights with a friend and we had a very nice stay. Hadn't visited the area for 10 years and the previous time was in corlette and I'm glad we went back. It is such a beautiful area and very quiet so you escape the crowds of people in Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay etc. There's a great shopping centre about 4 or 5 minutes drive from the apartment which has everything that you'd need. I walked there and back in around 25 minutes each way. The apartment itself is superb. Nicely furnished and the views from the balcony are spectacular.

Relaxing time had by all

Great location with basically a private beach right on our doorstep! Spent a lot of time on the balcony looking over the water & boats. We even caught two whiting from our beach house! Ryan was a great communicator & Grant made us very welcome & couldn’t help us enough & his dog was just gorgeous !
