Soooo much nicer than Alba
Such a wonderful host. Friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms are really cute. Quiet location in a nice little town just a 15 minute drive from Alba, much nicer than staying in the city. It's what I thought it would being like staying in Piedmonte. Great pool with lots of sun and nice courtyard. There is a fantastic Michelin Star restaurant just a two minute drive away from the property. Make sure to go if you get the chance. One of the best meals we had in Italy. Can't say enough nice things about our stay there. 5 stars+

This place is dream!!
My girlfriend and I decided to go to Alba for the Truffle Fair, and we wanted to stay in a place which really represents the region. Thus I did some research to try and find out a nice place to stay. After having browsed lots and lots of places in and around Alba, I decided to book this place, because it looked lovely, somewhat romantic, and very authentic to the region. Well, I have to say, we were not disappointed. The owner was very nice to us, and she gave us a warm welcome. She showed us our room, and moments later, our jaws dropped. It was such a nice room, simple yet with lots of regional character. The place was spotless, and the heating was working very well. The bed was very comfy. It was a semi-hard matress, so I liked it even more. The breakfast was very tasty and delicious. The owner's kids baked fresh biscuits and bread every morning. It all tasted so fresh. Well, it was a pity we had to leave, because I would have loved to spend some more days in such a peaceful and relaxing place. We'll definitely come back to this place. We made happy memories here.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Antico Casale Mattei per 3 giorni e la nostra esperienza è stata perfetta. L'attenzione agli ospiti è davvero notevole, abbiamo apprezzato la tranquillità della location, il relax in piscina e la colazione genuina e gustosa. Speriamo di tornarci davvero presto, capita poche volte di sentirsi a casa lontani da casa.

O Antico Casale Mattei está muito bem recuperado, muito giro, o atendimento é muito simpático e genuíno. Infelizmente calhou-nos provavelmente o pior quarto pois era logo na entrada onde o barulho de entrada/saída era bastante notório. A luz também entrava facilmente apesar dos bons blackout colocados. Wifi também não chegava ao nosso quarto. Se estivermos na zona será sem dúvida para voltar.

Schöne familiäre Anlage in guter Lage
Schöne Anlage in sehr gutem Zustand. Toller und aufmerksamer Service. Familliäre Atmosphere und kleine Aufmerksamtkeiten wie selbsgemachte Kuchen jeden Morgen beim Frühstück. Gute Ausgangslage um die Umgebung (Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco etc.) zu erkunden.

Bella Casale - Gracie mille!
Corneliano liegt super für Ausflüge in die Wunderschöne Region. Das Casale Matei wird sehr persönlich und aufmerksam geführt. Betten sind sehr bequem. Es ist ruhig und der Pool tut ausnahmslos gut. Wir würden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Det kunne ikke blive bedre end hos Daniella
At bo hos Daniella er 5 stjernet luksus. Skønne værelser, rene og smukt indrettet, morgenmad med hjemmelavede kager osv. Ligger man ved poolen kommer hun fluks med en isspand til at køle vandet med, eller lidt kold vandmelon. Man føler sig hjemme og forkælet.

Det mest fantastiske, hyggelige BB med en service som et bedre hotel. Hyggeligt indrettede værelser, den dejligste morgenmad, med hjemmebagt kage og mulighed for at lave frisk juice. Daniella, værtinden, er fantastisk, gør alt for at du skal føle dig godt tilpas. Desværre taler hun ikke meget engelsk, så større konversation med hende er desværre umuligt hvis du ikke kan italiensk. Et sted der kun kan anbefales på det varmeste

Un’oasi di relax nel bel mezzo delle langhe
Soggiorno perfetto. Non appena i cancelli dell’ingresso principale si aprono, ci si immerge in un luogo di puro relax. Le camere sono ampie e curate in ogni dettaglio in puro stile provenzale/shabby. Lontano dalla frenesia della città la proprietaria, Daniela, ci ha coccolato e consigliato per l’intero week-end. La colazione è copiosa e genuina. Lo consiglio e ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
