2024 changes include 2 new king mattress, new set of sheets to be used in cleaning rotation, new top level floor deck, 4 captain chairs top level, pool area table and 3 metal chairs, 4 beach chairs, beach cart, basketball system on driveway, update kitchenware as needed. 2023 changes include stain deck, new smart TV's, new pool fence, 4 beach chairs. 2022 added pool heater. Cost to use pool heater, additional $300, not in quoted price. Determine and pay for use after booking since it is a cost item weather dependent. Only charged if turned on during your stay. Other 2022 updates, new furniture, bed toppings, blankets, art, fresh paint. 2021 updates include granite in 4 bathrooms and kitchen with new sinks and faucets. This well maintained home is located on a private unpaved road that leads directly to beach access. Enjoy the natural surroundings and roomy floor plan of this beautiful Oceanside home on the public water system! Our home is near historic CV and within Corolla Village, CV. Close walk to see sound side views yet located on Oceanside with a private beach private road setting. Short direct walk to beach. You can see the entry to the beach from our driveway. Enjoy our home (A Stone Throw)!

In 2021, new granite countertops in the kitchen and 4 bathrooms with new sinks and faucets. Also new sofa, 2 loveseats, 1 chair upstairs level. New front steps. In 2020, new 80-gallon hot water heater, new king mattress, and topper. In 2019, new queen mattress ; new mattress topper. In 2018, new hammock deck furniture. In 2017, new carpets through home, new appliances ( washer, dryer, refrigerator, microwave), new tiled kitchen and bathroom floors, new bathroom lights above mirrors, etc... Each year, updates and changes provided to keep home looking amazing!!!

Parking for 3 to 5 vehicles depending on the size of vehicles. There is plenty of room...

Our home sleeps 12-15 people comfortably with 2 king, 3 queen, 1 bunk, 1 twin beds and 1 queen sleep sofa. 3 rooms are master rooms (offering a private bathroom setting). Home is approximately 2400 sq ft. Pool on site. Hot tub on site and sits 4-5 persons. The upstairs room layout sits all for family meals. Each floor has a sitting rec room area. Washer Dryer provided. Internet access provided (all service thru Spectrum, only provider to OBX area) . Linen and House towels provided. Close to fee service fitness facility (inquire if interested).

Level 1: Rec room, TV/VCR and QSS, bedroom with King Bed, bedroom with Bunk (2 beds) and 1 twin bed and full bath access off king bedroom for privacy or from rec room.. Walkout to back deck by pool, outside shower, or walk out to carport.

Level 2: 2 Queen bedrooms share a full shower or bath with jetted tub and a 3rd Queen Master Bedroom with private bath/shower, Living Room with mini bar area and mini refrigerator and mini sink. Walkout to deck with hot tub services. Walk out to the porch with OBX Hammock swing, chairs and table. Enjoy coffee on the front porch!

Level 3: King Master bedroom, with master bath with jetted tub and separate shower, kitchen, living room, dining area. Walkout to balcony from King bedroom or living area. Enjoy any meal off top level deck. Enjoy sunning and nature.

Family Get-Away
We got the family together for my momā€™s 70th birthday and everything (other than the weather) was perfect. 8 adults 5 kids (ages 3-9). Plenty of room for everyone, each floor had a living area which allowed everyone space to hang out or get away. Walk to the beach was about 10 minutes with the little ones but the beach cart carried all of our stuff! Our host was very communicative and wonderful to work with! Definitely recommend!

Great location and nice property for a friends and family vacation (fit 14 comfortably). Short walk to Beer Garden. Short walk to ice cream store. Short walk to Corolla pizza. Walk to the beach was short as well. Sue was incredible! Communication was outstanding! Recommend to everyone!

Week at the beach
We spent a wonderful week at this house in a great location in Corolla. Except for a couple of trips to miniature golf with the grandchildren, I could have parked my car for the week as a top notch coffee shop, a convenience store, a bookstore and a beer garden are all within walking distance. Short walk to the beach and pool and hot tub were a great bonus. Susan is exceedingly responsive to any questions we had. We've rented a lot of beach houses over the years(primarily at the Jersey Shore) and all agreed this was the best trip yet!

Fun family place
Nice place to stay. On a quieter private road on the far north end of the island. Little bit of a walk to the beach but not bad at all. Was really nice to have a pool all to ourselves for the kids. Host was very helpful as well. Only (small) suggestion maybe pave or more gravel/stone in wash off area so more debris doesnā€™t stir up on items when ground gets wet. Otherwise great stay, great location.

Impressive OBX house
My family had a wonderful time at this house in OBX. Everything in the listing is accurate. The house is well stocked and clean. Short walk to the beautiful and clean North Carolina beaches. The pool was appreciated by all of us as well. Everything is top notch. Corolla is in a quieter area of the OBX and that makes things that much better.Working with Sue was an absolute delight. She made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely stay here again when weā€™re in the area.

Wonderful house and location!
This is a wonderful home in the beautiful town of Corolla. Well stocked kitchen, great layout, cozy bedsā€¦. Everything you need for a fun family getaway. Paid a little extra to have the pool heated and that was the best, especially in May. Susan the manager was always available, helpful and kind. What a dear. You wonā€™t regret your stay here.

Great location on private road
We loved being within walking distance to the Ocean, Sound and Historic Corolla Village for coffee, pizza, cold beverages and food! Susan was great communicator before and during trip. The house was very clean and kitchen well stocked. Plenty of beach equipment, including a cart, which was very useful. We were 2 couples and liked the mid and upper living areas for our alone time. Upper level provided plenty of space and comfortable seating for us. The lower level was also very nice, but we did not need it. Having mini fridge and sink on mid level was a big plus! Can't wait to come back!

Where do I start...there were 11 of us ranging in age from 82 to 2 years young. Everyone had a great time. The house is exactly as described. A well stocked kitchen with several small appliances and lots of dinnerware. The private road to the beach was nice with the small children. The private pool was amazing...just the right size and depth for the little ones. Susan was a pleasure to work with and made sure she did everything timely that she needed to do. I look forward to working with her again, as I am sure we will be back.

Multi-generational Getaway
The house was perfect for our group of 10, including one 3-year old and 2 dogs. We loved having three floors so we could spread out and the one block walk to the beach was perfect. Sue could not have been a better hostā€” great communications! And we were thrilled that the kitchen was so well outfitted. Everything we needed. Lastly, the heated pool and hot tub were wonderful! Would definitely go back!

Great Time
We very much enjoyed this house. The house is in a great location. Short walk to the beach, and even shorter walk to food/ice cream/drinks. The updated furniture was a plus as well. We were in the pool everyday. Sue, the property manager, communicated very well before, during, and after the trip. I recommend this house if traveling to Corolla, NC.
