"This Best Western is located walking distance from Marina State Beach. It is quiet and cozy, with fire pits and a decent outdoor area. The rooms have recently been renovated and were quite nice although the bathrooms are not as modern. Towels are thin and pillows are a little sad, but quite in line for the price point. The drive into Monterey was easy, and we found some great food in Marina and Seaside that saved us from the traffic and chaos of Monterey st. I would stay here again (or across the street at the Resort if I splurge!)"

"The property has recent updates and upgraded us to a room with a balcony. Easy to walk to points of interest including restaurants. Enjoyed a meal at Namaste and we enjoyed the visit to the Marine Sanctuary museum within walking distance. "

"I booked a suite room for my birthday as a treat to myself. I wanted to spend my birthday weekend near the beach, even if it was in January. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the property. Check-in was quick and staff were friendly. My room had a beautiful view of the wharf. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend checking this hotel out."
