Main light in room not working. No cold water suspect faulty mixer valve. TV remote not working. Towels were all laundered but old and stained, overdue for replacement. Hotel parking occupied by non-hotel guests in spite of a paper tag requirement issued at check in. This meant having to park away from the motel room at a Hooters run by the same ownership. Furniture and shelving in rooms tattered with no apparent attempt to refresh. I get it, lower end property but by far the worst of my last 4 nights rooms with Hotels.com. And the most expensive. Also the only property of 4 nights insisting on a pet fee for a physician certified ESD. Just not a great experience overall. Other brands in the same arena, seemingly offering a better quality accommodation. Finally they had their landscaping contractors starting with cutters and blowers at 0630 hrs just outside the rooms. So much for a full sleep. Most cities have noise by-laws restricting this at this early hour. Again I get it...Friday...get it done, get home early. But come on this is an accommodation. Peaceful sleep seems to be the whole point.
