People are constantly slamming their doors in non waking hours. Better to install slow close doors in the room to avoid disturbance.

This hotel provided excellent service during our recent stay after backpacking in Cerro Castillo National Park. Esteban was particularly accommodating when we arrived and helped us arrange for transport in the local area. The hotel is about a mile from the center of Coyhaique, so it takes about 20 minutes to walk or 3-5 minutes to drive to the town center to get to most shops, restaurants, etc. The hotel room was large and comfortable, modern, and clean, and we appreciated having a bathtub and shower with great water pressure after several days of trekking.

There was a lot of noise pollution from other rooms like many reviews say. Otherwise I liked the place. The internet was excellent , I worked from the cafeteria a few days. The bed was very comfy. With earplugs it would be five stars.

The hotel was a good, well-maintained building with almost everything you'd expect. We needed a place to stay for one night ahead of a flight and it served its purpose perfectly. They even arranged the transfer for us. The weirdest thing however is that the hotel is three stories with no lift. We ended up lugging suitcases upstairs ourselves. Not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things for us but something to think of for anyone with mobility issues.

comfortable hotel in beautiful area of Chile
Nice hotel, expensive by local standards, but more comfortable than most. On the edge of town, but only 15 minute walk to the other side of town anyway. Good selection at breakfast - get there early, it runs out by the end of the advertised breakfast period.

Reliable option, somewhat removed
I have stayed here multiple times over the past year, and like other Diego de Almagro locations, it is relatively reliable. It has a 1970s-80s design and the condition is OK. It is convenient for business, with meeting spaces, but it is a bit far from the center of town. There is now a new brewery with pub food right next door which makes this less of a problem for eating out. It’s a fine option if you have a vehicle. Also, the walls are somewhat thin, so the experience depends on luck of how noisy guests are who happen to share your wall. Otherwise it is comfortable, especially given the relatively small number of accommodations in the area, and the staff are friendly and professional.

A great place to stay and relax.
The clerk was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel room was big and the bed was comfortable. It was very wheelchair accessible. The breakfast provided was great. The location was easy to get to. Nice town to visit and we had a great dinner in town. There was Wifi in the room and a mini bar.

A fine place to stay--but beware the thin walls
This hotel is perched on a hill, and a bit far from the center of Coyhaique by foot, but it is a fine place to stay even if it has a bit of a "Shining" feel. The problem for my stay was that there were thin walls, and there was a group of foreigners who were apparently visiting for a concert and they_started_to party when they arrived back at the hotel around 4am. I had a very important day of meetings the next day, and did not get enough sleep unfortunately. The room in the lower floor also had some mildew problems, and a broken bathroom door handle. I was able to move to the third floor, which was far superior.

Hotel has an amazingly hot enjoyable sauna for relaxing after hiking trails in the local National Park. Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable and hotel was all around a great experience. I am not a Spanish speaker and several employees took the time to use Google translate with me and others were frustrated with the experience.

Great location to base for travel around Patagonia. Would recommend this hotel. Easy to find, near gas stations and grocery store. Downtown Coyhaique is short drive.

Good location in Coyhaique Patagonia
This hotel is on the south edge on Coyhaique so as you enter on Rt 7 from Balmaceda, its right at the intersection where Rt 7 turns to the right. The clerk was great, even remembering me from an earlier visit. It is a great location to base for trips around Patagonia.
