We only stayed one night and the premises were very quiet, had lovely views from the bedroom window and the family who run both the Champagne business and the B&B were very friendly.
The harvest had already finished and the whole place had a nice yeasty, biscuity smell, as if the new wines were fermenting under the bedroom (it was actually next door!).
The breakfast was very good - served in a large dining room on the ground flr, with everything you could possibly wish for and a very impressive range of jams.
Sadly, the bed/mattress had seen better days and was past the end of its life, which made for a not-so-comfortable sleep.
Everything else about the Champagne House, the B&B and its lovely owners was fine and we would love to stay here again.
