Terrible Hilton experience and also with cust svc!
We arrived after 11:30 PM and I went up to the desk. No one was there and then a man came over from a small group of employees who were talking. He seemed uninterested in taking care of me. I gave him my name and told him a had a reservation for two rooms (3 people, 1 bed in each room). He looked it up and told me I only had one room. I tried to show him my reservation on the hotels.com app and he refused to look at my cell phone. He said "I can't help you because you didn't book your reservation with us. He gave me a key to one room and walked back to the group of employees who were still talking. I had to sleep on the love seat pull out bed, which was a 4 inch extremely cheap box spring and 2 sheets sewn together with almost no filling for a mattress. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. When I checked out I told the girl at the desk about the reservation problem and she asked to see the hotels.com reservation on my phone. She looked at it and within seconds found the other room. She apologized for the way the man had treated me the night before.

I found dried blood on both of the blankets in my room. The bar staff was extremely slow and it closed at 9pm. With a group of 40 staying at the hotel and not having a good stay, I would’ve thought they would stay open later to accommodate us.

This property served its purpose, a place to lay our head. However, the area is slightly questionable. Looking around the room there was obvious water damage at the top of the walls and ceiling. The grout in the tub was far from clean.

We chose this option because it was the more “affordable” option. There was a $25 fee to check in early, $100 deposit, and $3 for a water bottle. We moved over from a 4⭐️ hotel after a festival thinking we were saving money. You don’t.

The Double Tree was a nice place to stay but I’m not used to paying for Wi-Fi or breakfast separate. I am also aggravated with Expedia that I still haven’t received my final bill and I’ve been checked out for over 6 hours. I like to know what I’m paying for things
