Swimmimg is not recommended from our property because of the lake weeds near the shore. (See below for a list of local swimming options)
We have a dock over large rocks along the water's edge. (To be clear, it is not in the water but along the water's edge. Lake Champlain's water level on our shore fluctuate throughout the year which can be as high as 5 feet or as low as inches. The dock area has some water weeds near the shore. The dock is great for launching/tying up canoes/canoe/small boats. The property is an optimal location to fish for endless large and small mouth bass, catfish and more. Other outdoor activities/games included at our property are a soccer ball, basketballs/hoop, corn hole & Bocce Ball.

There is a brand-new generator that powers the house and cabin if the electricity goes out.

Located in the Adirondack Park, in the historic town of Crown Point New York, the property is close to Fort Saint Frederic, the Crown Point Lighthouse and the suspension bridge to Vermont. We are 1/2 hour to Middlebury College and Ticonderoga. The woodlands adjacent to us connects us to the Crown Point Campground & State Park where visitors can access frisbee disk golf, a playscape, a basketball hoop, and walking trails along the water.

The lodge is a two-story building with a large living room on each floor that have lots of comfortable seating, floor to ceiling windows, panoramic views of the lake, and flat screen tv’s. There is plenty of room for your group to spread out and relax. The second floor living room features a cathedral ceiling and bar area. Off the living room there is a game room facing the lake that has a ping pong table, pool table, air hockey table, soft-tip darts, second fridge and lots of seating to take in the view. Off the living room on the first floor there is a large, covered porch that is perfect for morning coffee, or evening cocktails while enjoying our spectacular sunrises, sunsets and beautiful reflection of the moon off the lake.

The lodge has a well-equipped, eat in kitchen and a separate large dining room. There are two comfortable bedrooms with queen beds on the first floor. On the second floor you will find a large master suite with a king-sized bed, cathedral ceiling and a slider leading to a porch with stunning views of the lake. The second room is a bunk room with 2 XL twin beds over 2 queen beds. The house has two full baths, a washer and dryer, air-conditioning and wi-fi. The yard has a gas grill, a fire pit and lots of seating. Dog guests considered.

Local hot spots include War Cannon Spirits which a distillery with a refurbished 200-year-old building in Crown Point that hosts a tasting room, smoke house restaurant, coffee shop, bottle shop and bar. There are several restaurants, a deli (WAGS) and an apple orchard with a bakery. The nearest full grocery store is a Walmart Supercenter in Ticonderoga, 20 minutes
away. Susie's and the Crab Shack are local favorites. Goodies Snack Bar has delicious homemade ice cream and food items. Norms has some groceries and a tackle shop (4 min)

The Lodge is also an excellent spot for Spring and Fall fun including nearby hiking trails, leaf peeping and an apple orchard.

Wonderful property!
We visited the property over a long weekend with a group of friends and our dog. The listing is accurate, the house is lovely, and the lake view is stunning at sunrise. The host communicated well and check in was smooth. My dog is now upset that we don’t live at the lake house full time.

Beautiful Sunrises
We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge with beautiful sunrises to enjoy with our coffee each morning. We had a little snaffu trying to get in, but it was quickly resolved as there are two points of entry. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. If you bring small children, I would recommend bringing some baby gates as there are two steep staircases inside. Overall a beautiful place to stay and we will be back!

The area is full of history. The lodge is very private location and fully stocked with anything you need. Lots of space and things to occupy everyone. We spent most days on the porch overlooking the beautiful lake if we weren't site seeing or fishing. Thank you Michele

Beautiful Lodge on Lake Champlain
The Lodge at Crown Point is fully furnished with everything you need during your stay. Michele, the owner, responds quickly to inquiries. Our group of 11 — 6 adults and 5 children, ages 4, 8, 9, 10, and 12 — had plenty of space. We rented the cabin and that worked well for us. The game room was a favorite gathering place. The bunk room worked perfectly for our 4 grandsons. The boys loved fishing in the lake near the house, but their best fishing luck happened on the pier near the lighthouse — 3 boys caught 39 fish in two outings! All in all, the Lodge was a great location for our family vacation!

This house is in such a naturally beautiful setting. We loved watching the muskrats and ground hogs and birds. There is a nice disc golf course just a 5 minute walk away and world class disc golf 90 minutes away. I would highly recommend this place!

A really nice experience
My family stayed for only two nights because we were out of state guests for a wedding and we didn’t want to be spread out among several hotel rooms. There was plenty of room for everyone, and everyone was comfortable. It was a nice bonus to have a pool table, air hockey table, ping-pong table and shelves of games to help entertain when it rained. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and the beautiful lake. Everyone talked about coming back to spend a week with family to fully enjoy the property and the area.

Family getaway!
Great family getaway for the week with adults, grandparents, and children (total of 10 people). The house was very clean, cozy and accommodating with plenty of space for lounging and taking in the views. Bunk bed room was perfect for the kids. The upstairs game room with ping pong was a hit and a great separate space that was quiet from the house when the kids went to bed. We wanted to spend more time on the back deck but after early morning got very buggy with mosquitoes which was the nature of time of year we were there (Aug). Deck was an amazing spot to watch the sunrise over the lake and have your morning coffee! From the property the water access was difficult to launch the paddle boards we brought from home. Instead we took our boards next door to the campground area to their boat launch which worked out no problem. We enjoyed the local spots including the lighthouse, state park, Ft. Ticonderoga and distillery. Lake Placcid was a little over an hour away and the perfect day trip. Thanks for sharing the Lodge with us!

Perfect place for a tranquil, lakeside retreat.
This is such a beautiful spot. The lawn is expansive (our dog was in heaven!), Michelle is incredibly responsive (I asked if they had a tea kettle, and we had a new one the next morning), the property manager (Chip) is delightful and helpful. The house is large, with two living rooms, and an outside patio, which very relaxing. If you are an early riser, a perfect sunrise directly across the lake.
