About the area:
Rydon House is located on the outskirts of Willand village. The historic Willand village is conveniently situated between both Cullompton, and Tiverton. Willand is the gateway to both North & South Devon, and just a few minutes away from both, the main M5 motorway, and A361 North Devon link road.

Willand is home to many historic buildings, thatched cottages from the 14th century, manor houses & country estates, & an ancient church. The village offers numerous activities, we are close to both Exmoor & Dartmoor, less than 30mins from the beach, explore the historic city of Exeter, or perhaps cycling the West Country Way (national cycle route 3, Bristol to Penzance), which passes Rydon House. We have numerous local walks & if you fancy a game of tennis, the Willand tennis club is open to the public. The local Golf course & driving range is a few minutes away too.

If you have a keen eye for culinary treats, there are a number of restaurants locally in Willand, as well as in neighboring Cullompton & Tiverton. The Bluebell Restaurant & Halfway House are within walking distance of Rydon House, or Waterloo Cross just a couple of minutes drive. The Old Well garden centre cafe, just 2 mins drive, serves Devon cream teas in its cafe. In nearby Cullompton & Tiverton, there’s restaurants ranging from the local speciality to the national chains & fast food outlets. Of course, Cullompton is also home to the award winning Fish & Chips shop too.

If you prefer to eat in, Willand is home to the Coop, & Londis supermarkets, Tesco & Aldi are situated in Cullompton, and Morrisons is also available in Tiverton

We are very easy to find, located off the main street, on the outskirts of Willand village. Less than 5 minutes from both Junction 27 & 28 of the M5 motorway. We are also on the main bus route connecting both Exeter & Bristol airports. If you need airport or train pickups, we are happy to assist you with this by separate arrangement.
