Not as happy as the first two times there.
We have been to this place 3 different times. This by far was the worst of the 3. The lighting in the room was way too dark. My husband is blind in one eye, and halfway in the other. He had a difficult time getting around the room due to the darkness. This was also the very smallest of the 3 rooms we have been in. I thought we were getting a bathtub in our room but we didn't. I people that work their are wonderful so I didn't want to complain about the room. My husband didn't want to change rooms anyway due to not liking to complain about anything. The food is wonderful by the way.

one night stay before heading in to Shenandoah NP. Very clean, quiet and great breakfast. Very comfortable beds. only suggestion would be dimmer lighting in bathrooms.

Poor Customer Service
Everything about the hotel was pretty much on point, but when I checked in, the attendant was disinterested, dismissive and pretty much unfriendly. Sorry but not sorry that I had to ring the bell after standing at the counter for multiple minutes to check in. When the attendant did come to the counter, I told them I had a dog and that I had called ahead of time to make sure everything was in order, he shook his head like he was disgusted. I visit Culpeper multiple times a year and always grab a hotel room for a few days, but after this experience, I will never use the Hampton Inn again. There are cheaper options with the same amenities. No matter how great a hotel may or may not be, poor customer service and greetings go a long way in determining a customers experience.

The rooms were worn out looking. Bedsheets wrinkled. Very noisy. You can hear people in the halls talking late at night and doors slamming. The walls must not of been insulated! Definitely not a 250 dollar stay!

Quiet location
Quiet, comfortable room. Breakfast included in the price but I didn’t care for the breakfast choices. Thot hotel price bit high but it’s what a friend chose. Hotel located few miles outside of Culpeper with no other hotels close.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, we put a DND sign on the door and at 8am housekeeping knocked. When we answered the door, she said, "oh" like she was surprised. What is the purpose of a sign if the staff ignores it?
